Super Buu cracks his neck a lot for a guy that has no bones.

The bone cracking is gas bubbles between bones popping, so maybe he just pops some gas bubbles in his neck.
Well buu actually does have bones and all that stuff but when he distorts his body like pull a chunk off it doesn't affect what i'll call "the real layer" because when he absorbed gohan and got angry he clenched his fist so hard he started to bleed so only buu can really harm himself like that in terms of cutting bleeding ect

Well, yes. He's the only one in the original manga/anime to be killed by it. However, if we count the movies and GT which I'm aware aren't in the same continuity, there are actually 4. The other 3 are Omega Shenron, Turles, and Lord Slug.
And is only the second villain Goku kills in all of Zee.

Actually, that could be a good explanation for why Beerus never dealt with Buu. He wanted to keep him around, because the fat Kai inside him would be the best contender to keep Moro in check.

Buu absorbing people used to freak me out when I was a kid. I always thought Buu would smother people before they get absorbed.
Even now iv rewatched the entirety on the show less than 4 years ago and my god his arc stilll gave me goosebumps imagining him absorbing everyone purely destroying humanity like nothing i was still shocked
Also your soul is trapped forever and it itself eventually just joins the whole. Imagine the madness and erasure of who you are over a 1000 year span. It reminds me of Davy Jones's ship in the PoTC original movie when the souls begin to merge with the ship itself and spiral into dementia but remain alive for eternity. Conscious but only at some inky murky level. But in Buu it's multiplied by the factor of millions when you consider his own consciousness and control is like a black hole and your completely exposed and inundated by his most impure and sadistic thoughts for what potentially could be an eternity of which you are forever made to bear witness to. Yeah, what they never really explored in the show is more terrifying and that includes Cell absorbing humanity itself when he did it, but in cell we aren't told if you're consciously aware when you integrate with Cell, in Buy it's confirmed. Only remember the androids recollection of being in cell but assumed it was maybe because humans minds were to weak amongst all their millions inside. And that the Androids were both tech and strong minded, and also because well writing and stuff.
Agreed, though Cell was spookier and a little more gruesome when I was younger.
I agree that Buu absorbing people was eerie, but....BUT when imperfect Cell absorbed humans ESPECIALLY when he stuck his tail into the back of that business man that offered piccolo to save him, and slowly sucked the entire mass of his body and soul out of him slowly in front of piccolo was absolutely traumatizing as a younger chap. If that happened in 99-2000 I was about 13-14 years old and it STILL had an affect of me. I remember watching it happen along with my father and couldn't believe how disgusting they made it look as well as how slowly it happened while the man screamed the groaned until he was completely gone and the stack of $100 dollar Bill's laid there on the street. GOD I love DBZ. -Cheers.

Cell learned Instant Transmission thanks to...
A) Focusing on it every time Goku used it after the Kikoho/Tri-Beam moment
B) Gaining a Zenkai boost thanks to how his Saiyan & Namekian genes express themselves
C) Through Osmosis thanks to Saiyan DNA [in the same way Vegeta learned to sense Ki]
Whereas Majin/Kid Buu learned the technique because he's both magic and created to be destructive

I love the heck out of Buu, but I do feel like Geekdom saying him healing the blind boy was a sign of goodness was really overlooking that Buu only cured his sight so that he could make the boy feel terror. It was an evil act that was accidentally good. And one of the my favourite Buu moments out there. Buu really was bad at being evil, but to call it him being good is just not quite accurate. I'm glad you remember how really it went down.

Buuhan was the strongest however kid buu was the most dangerous and unpredictable because he was pure uncontrollable chaos. Its like giving a bad kid superman powers.
Vegeta didnt want to fuse fighting Kid buu because finally he was just himself pure form and out of respect as a fighter Goku and vegeta wanted to win fair and square no fusion needed!

I was going to post a very similar comment. Cell needed to absorb 17 and 18 to become perfect and even reverted forms when he got gut checked by Gohan and barfed up 18.

The second evil buu or super buu is technically still the grey one. Think about how when super buu absorbs someone, he gets their strength, moves, and appearance, so he probably just got fat buus skin color and a mix of the twos weight since they are both buus.

I say Kid/Pure Buu is my favorite out of all the forms. He doesnt stall and talk the talk like his other forms and villain. He's more action than words. He just straight up blew up the Earth the second he changed. He also blew up other Planets while looking for Goku and Vegeta. He is also kind of humorous.

@@donathan2933 actually cell is different. Once cell absorbs something it remains a part of him forever. Ultimate perfect cell didn’t need 17 and 18 after he self destructed. When buu adsorbs people, technically it doesn’t stay with him forever and buu will lose what he adsorb if set free. But true they both need to adsorb, it’s like half right half wrong.
Super Buu is the only villain that knew he couldn’t beat an opponent and didn’t panic and found away around it

I’m so glad the Moro arc explored Buu’s good side taken from the Grand Supreme Kai.
Just finished rewatching the buu arc and for as much humour as it has, it's quite dark for Dragon Ball even compared to the other arcs. After Buu shows up, characters drop like flies nearly every episode not to mention the Earth gets blown up towards the end.
which is a shame considering it was the lowest of the Z arcs

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2 really took advantage of this ability, where not only Super Buu attains his victim's abilities and clothing, but acts similar to them as well.
It's just a nifty trait overall.
Yeah I liked the part where he had the friendship with Mr Satan I think when he brought home the injured puppy it showed just how much Buu was just a innocent child at heart an mind... But if you dig deeper into it I love like how he is basically a representation of Yin and Yang when evil buu came forth it was basically subtly saying that everyone has good and evil in them what matters is the side you choose to act upon!

I remember watching dbz on cartoon nextwork everyday after school keeping up with the buu series, obviously it took a forever . Then one day they just stopped showing new episodes and started replaying older episodes. So devastating as a kid lol

I believe it's actually the Kai Kai, not the Shunkan Ido. Kibito Kai actually mentioned that it's from Kibito's Kai Kai, not Goku's Instant Transmission. Just letting you know, since Majin Buu (Purified) was teleporting to different locations without having to sense their energy like how Goku requires energy to sense for his teleportation to work. Must be due to both their names meaning "Instantaneous Movement" is how you mix them up both, could it?

@@BrogetaLSSJ4 You have to remember from the model that Toriyama made based on the macrocosm. The Sacred World of the Kai, or the Kaioshin Realm, orbits around it. Goku wasn't able to find Gohan's energy in the living world until he was back to Other World and find his energy there. With Kid Buu, he doesn't need to do the hand gesture in the same fashion like the Instant Transmission when he teleports from Heaven to the Kaioshin Realm. Sure Goku did it when he fired up close to Cell with the Kamehameha, but it's different. Kibito Kai literally said that it's Kibito's, and Kai Kai is superior to the Instant Transmission since you can teleport anywhere without you having to sense energy that is billions of light-years away with weak energy signature.
@Nick Sorenson I'm sure you'll be able to get that skill eventually. It took me many tries getting Super Dragon Fist from Xenoverse 1 from the PQ with SSG Goku, but I've managed to get it eventually. It just takes time and conditions to meet to the very end to get them.

@@donathan2933 Kid Buu still shown some amounts of intelligence as he was able to sense Goku and Vegeta in the Kai realm and go there to fight along with learning Goku's Instant Transmission. All the Buus (even Fat Buu) had moments were they were able to outwit people.

Jam Z so I think technically Evil Buu and Fat Buu are simply two halves of the same being, like the Kais that they absorbed and that gave Buu the less hostile personality were absorbed so long ago that they basically became a part of their essence. But when Fat Buu is absorbed it changes his whole personality, but he isn't fully absorbed, which means they can remove him and revert Buu back to his original form before he absorbed the fat Kai. Basically I think an absorbtion takes time to fully breakdown whoever they take

Majin Buu has so many forms and the more you think about it the more confusing it gets. Especially when you try to figure out the order in which they're strongest. Technically Super Buu at one point has Grande Supreme Kai, South Supreme Kai, Goten, Trunks, Piccolo and Gohan absorbed.
