Honestly really good Video, the moment i was looing at the Comments i was really confused because the everything from the Commentary to the Editing was very high quality and i was expecting a Comment section with hundrets or thousands of People. Keep up the Grind this Video was in my Recommended ;)
It's the ONLY motherboard that has 4 NVMe ports for gaming, audio/video editing and Virtual Machines also 8 SATA ports for my main storage that I synch with my NAS. I can use the 2nd PCIe slot for Elgato capture card and it does not disable any of the NVMe or SATA interfaces. Well worth £560 I spent for it.
honestly same reason i wanna get one, and it basically has everything i could ask for if i ever get deeper into overclocking and whatnot. the steel legend is most likely good enough for me though.
Since we are on the topic of higher end motherboards. My question is more so based on the sound chip. With all higher end motherboards and even mid tier boards all having built in sound processors now a days, would it make sense for me to continue using my Creative Sound blaster Z sound card on my next build? I also have a 5.1 speaker lay out and I use a optical cable.
My headphone impedance is rated 150ohm and the built-in motherboard soundcard is not able to deliver enough power to the headphones for a loud sound. That's the only reason I still use the sound blaster Z.
No real point to a sound card tbh. The main issue is having enough slots. As you can see the x670e taichi has only 2 x16 slots, and they are not very far from each other, meaning if you put a 4090 or some other 3 slot card, you can’t put a sound card in the other slot. A sound card might be useful for boards without optical ports though
@@DejaVu0 What you want nowadays for good audio solution is an USB DAC as those are both the most convenient to use as well as offer the highest sound quality, by far. What I'm using is FiiO K9 Pro and there is no chance I'd go back to motherboard audio or any PCIE sound card, which is simply irrelevant thing of the past by now.
@@RJ-vy4yd thanks for your input, ill definitely keep this in mind. Well an external dac set up in mind, maybe not the FiiO K9 Pro lol, as this would cost double what my 5.1 speaker set up is worth lol. I don't need anything for professional use.
You are doing very good. Like the way you explain things. Infact you are more logical and practical than Julian. Btw you might want to consider speaking slower as there are viewers from overseas unless you are only targeting for Singapore audience only.
@@ZXTech ok I try to ask if it’s ok to leave your email contact as wanted some advise from you as how you did your shoot. As I needed some help. But I can’t leave my email here. It will be removed. Thank you.
You missed a few things. This motherboard has 4 m.2 slots The motherboard DOESNT have 2 pcie x16 slots. It has 2 pcie x8 slots if you want to use BOTH of them. You mentioned that this motherboard has wifi 6 which it does but that's nothing special. All the previous motherboards had it as well. This motherboard has "wifi 6e" which is different from previous generation. But then all the motherboards this generation have wifi 6e so that's not a special feature inherent to this ASRock motherboard
This is a nice mobo but they make an even nicer one... the x670e taichi carrara and to have a high end board is only to be future proof..or bragging rights... :) the Gen 5 M2's are not even out yet I believe
Could you guys give your opinion: ASRock X670E Taichi Carrara vs Crosshair X670E Hero/Extreme? Build will be *CPU* 7950X3D. *GPU* RTX 4090. *PSU* Dark Power 13 1000W.
X670E Taichi --- PCIe 5.0 x16 (x16/x8, x0/x8), No ECC = Not Worth It ~~ IF it Supported = PCIe 5.0 x16 (x16/x16, with x4/ Bifurcation), and ECC = Worth It
"It begs the question" no it doesn't. Begging the question is a specific thing that isn't just "I have a question after looking at this," it is a logical fallacy of rephrasing an assertion as an argument for that assertion, you are literally begging the original question.

This board is one of the best Board for AM5 right now. 24 Phases, for the CPU this is a Beast.
This board is now $500 and a much better value. It has a TON of USB connectivity and 3 U.2 NVMe slots and wifi 6e and 2.5 Gb ethernet.

@@ZXTech so are you saying that the sound device from motherboards now a days provides the same if not better quality than a sound card can?

Well Done

Wrong their both x16 unless you populate 3 of the M.2 slots
I think this is the 7000 series motherboard with 8 SATA ports. The rest have 4 to 6 only.
Yea
There's also MSI MEG X670E Godlike equipped with 8 sata ports
Not full amd anyway, 4 are storahci
