I was very lucky to see her perform in Sacramento in the 1990's at the Community Center with an audience that I'd say was 80 lesbians! The crowd went wild! It was amazing and she was so funny with her banter between songs! One of my most memorable musical nights.
The acoustics of the old Community Center were great. I thought she was going to blow the roof off. We were lucky to see her there instead of Echo Arena.
Regardless of lyrics, it has a 4 to 4- change (or a 4 to b7dom - however you look at it) so I love it to begin with. I was just saying to my wife... This song played at least once a shift, and reminds me of young love. 2024 will be 30 years since we got together, and here we are still...
