Notice how all of these are from non-English speaking countries. In American/UK/Australia talent shows there are close to no heavy metal auditions. Truth is most of the viewers of the show are old people or teens who listen to pop garbage. Metal isn't as mainstream as it used to be.

Nils K.Rue is the first singer, and from Norway. He sings in Pagan's Mind, but now also in a new band.
"Shadowspell". Its a Norwegian/German/Italian all star metal band.
The drummer is Uli Kusch..ex Helloween/Gamma Ray/Masterplan.

I got to know him at Åge Sten Nilsens Rock 'n' Roll Adventure where he did the Ozzy/Dio/AliceCooper-parts like a god. A nice and humble guy that deserves all the attention he might get in future!

I dont get why people is so hard with metal head in TV shows, i dont want to sound like a stupid meta head but Metal singers are way superior to a lot of modern singers who cant even reach a high note like Bruce Dickinson or sing as awesome like corey taylor or scream like Randy Blythe

Actually in the auditions they can't perform the whole song so he turned 4minutes into 1:30 aprox. He changed the lyrics to help his voice deliver in a short opportunity.

heavy metal auditions worked because europeans are more acceptable towards metal since they have alot of metal heads, try that in north american voice dont think theyll be impressed lol

American metal has greatly suffered after all of the lawsuits and drama of people blaming their personal issues on metal music. I will admit tho in America most of it's music economy is classic rock and Metal but they will not allow it to be an achievement of a Pop and R&B TV show.

Lel, most of the judges from other countries usually look confused not interested. Mainstream music will always be the main music of a talent show, these shows are targeted towards people who like the things they're told too like i.e. shitty pop and mumble rap

I gotta admit. The long blonde haired dude at the end, who does Iron Maiden's Run To The Hills, could literally sing for Maiden! I grew up listening to Maiden, Metallica(My favorite band, BTW.), Ozzy, GNR, KISS, Black Sabbath(The Gods of Metal, who also started it, back in the late 60's!), Motorhead, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, The Doors and hell, you name it, from the 60's up until mid 90's and it was metal, hard rock, classic rock, shock rock, glam rock and many others, I listened to it! I used to live off of music, when I was a kid! lol

These were all amazing performances, I may be partial to Iron Maiden and Metallica though. Seriously, anyone who can match up to Bruce Dickinson is a 👍 in my book.

Fun bit of trivia: The last guy in this video, performing Run To The Hills, he's now a professional, and the lead singer of the power metal band Twilight Force. HIghly recommended, especialy if you like your power metal symphonic, overblown and filled with more ham and cheese than all of France combined.

I don't watch this show, but Damn can this man sing. idk if he's had formal training or not, but he should win. He has excellent pitch, range and intonation. I'm aware that the music industry doesn't like metal, but there's millions of fans like myself.
