Olofsson is an enigma. Good on the PP but soft along the wall and invisible in the corners. Generally, turns away when things get physical. How they can give him top 6 minutes will be interesting to see. He played himself onto the 4th line in Buffalo, where his timid style of play was useless. Good luck with that one...
Is the team heading for tanking..given the dissolution of roster and thin prospects..Sharks and Ducks will begin to re-emerge in next couple of seasons.. With lesser team results Vegas could benefit from higher draft picks and do a retool acquiring players when remaining high cap hits age out..
I am curious a whole lot on this as some strong players here have also played on teams that were not winning..Hertl after the elite guys aged out..Eichel with the constant changing rosters in Buffalo..Hannifin with an uneven Flames core..Stone will be essential in keeping this group together. Not sure it is a core..more valuable remnants. I sound harsh but longtime hockey fan following most all NHL teams. I just think with so many who did not return fair to be a realist. If this is a team that wins a lot it will be awesome . It’s going to require a tight knit locker room group that like coming to work everyday. Because they will be playing opponents with coaches who can be humored more and players who have been together longer and teams with more depth.
