Wow - what an interview! It was so bittersweet to see MK cry. Because her fans know she never cries in public, she always put out a happy face. We all cried with her now and when we saw her as a bride. She was earnest, vulnerable and opened up like never before. Haroon, you bring out the best in people, and you do it with empathy and kindness!. MK rightly said, you are a very good interviewer. MK, unlike others she never flaunts or boast about her success and the opportunities. Humility is her second name, and we always wished she would talk a little more, open up a little more and not worry about what people would say. It's ok to acknowledge how long you have come. You can see slowly MK has let her guard down a little over the years...and it wasn't easy for her. But we are glad she did. Her voice cracked a little when she said, nobody else did that for her during her time so now she pays it forward. Her contemporaries or other envious people can never match up to her grace and generosity. She has always been the bigger person even when potshots were taken at her. And I believe that's why she is so successful and the most loved celebrity. While, others they may be good actors, but they don't have what it takes to be a superstar, which is humility and uplifting other women.

Every time there’s an interview in English, your accent becomes more and more fake, just talk normal and would not hurt, the only success you had was the Humsafar drama, all your movies were a big flop, please work on your skills rather than remembering when you wore who and what and ate what after this event or that event.
People are not aware of it but Netflix is an American company and can be sued for discrimination on the basis of national origin, religion, race, gender, sexual orientation, age and much more. The Indian CEO has been discriminating against Pakistani projects and should be reported. She took leverage because our cultures are not into reporting or criticizing. Staying quiet is the norm. In the sea of comments by the P.R machinery or genuine fans, who knows...the obseqiousness of this interview is remarkable. I had to scroll to the very bottom to see somewhat nuanced comments. What is our deen, when we speak about "Walking down the aisle"? What is our perception of deen, self-growth and self-reflection when we say "Support after those photos"? It is astounding to hear people talk about "Insh´Allah kaamyaab hogi" when Allah´ s rules are so clear regarding life. What Allah are we hoping for when we involve His name in areas that Allah Himself has ordered us to stay away from? Kiss dunya mein rehte hain yeh loog? People seem to ascribe the fame and money to Allah swt, but fail to see when Allah´s hidaayat comes through us being exposed? What does it mean for our relationship with Him when He exposes our sins? THAT is something to think about. Is it really "just photos", or a deeper message to us from our Creator? Is the "backlash" from people really a sign of them being "jaahil" or us being so comfortable with sin, that we do not even FEEL shame anymore? People are not aware of it but Netflix is an American company and can be sued for discrimination on the basis of national origin, religion, race, gender, sexual orientation, age and much more. The Indian CEO has been discriminating against Pakistani projects and should be reported. She took leverage because our cultures are not into reporting or criticizing. Staying quiet is the norm. Netflix doesn't belong to 3rd world corrupt cultures and people.

In the sea of comments by the P.R machinery or genuine fans, who knows...the obseqiousness of this interview is remarkable. I had to scroll to the very bottom to see somewhat nuanced comments. What is our deen, when we speak about "Walking down the aisle"? What is our perception of deen, self-growth and self-reflection when we say "Support after those photos"? It is astounding to hear people talk about "Insh´Allah kaamyaab hogi" when Allah´ s rules are so clear regarding life. What Allah are we hoping for when we involve His name in areas that Allah Himself has ordered us to stay away from? Kiss dunya mein rehte hain yeh loog?
People seem to ascribe the fame and money to Allah swt, but fail to see when Allah´s hidaayat comes through us being exposed? What does it mean for our relationship with Him when He exposes our sins? THAT is something to think about. Is it really "just photos", or a deeper message to us from our Creator? Is the "backlash" from people really a sign of them being "jaahil" or us being so comfortable with sin, that we do not even FEEL shame anymore?
Is it really something to be proud of, to be affiliated with a mega-injust company such as L´Oréal, that has links with the genocide of Palestinians and also tests on animals (which is haraam)? Are we that dead in our souls that we now feel pride in being connected to such industries, as well as Bollywood, which makes huge money off of both copying from others as well as maligning our country and religion in their production? Really, marr chuka hai loogon ka zameer, jo aise loogon ko apna role-model samajhte hain! Astaghfarullah!
