- Athena is transferred to another hospital in Sydney for a 4 night stay.

** I am an Aussie Mum of two teenagers (3 if you count my husband) and 2 Golden Retrievers. I have been a vegetarian for 11 years and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2014. I film a variety of videos, including day in the life vlogs, packing & travel, organising & decluttering and haul videos.
Congrats to Kevin and glad Athena is on the mend.

Hint for future reference (although I hope you won't need it) - most wards have a kitchen where patients/relatives can heat up food in the microwave. Ask and I'm sure you'll be directed to it. If they don't have a patient/relative specific kitchen, ask the nursing staff. They usually have a meal room close to the ward and can often heat something up for you. Especially if you're nice, which you are. :-)

Im glad Athena's nausea got resolved and she was able to go home. That is great news about Kevin's job. Sounds like he will be much happier. 💛

I am def looking into WLS myself and working on finding the best surgeon and working on raising money for it along with seeing what our medical insurance will pay.

The Michelaks do an awesome job with their vlogs. Hope their move to Bath doesn't change them too much - but I don't think it will. They seem very grounded.

Just got caught up on your vlogs. I'm so sorry Athena has had to go through all this, I wanted to just sit at the hospital and hang out with them, I felt so bad. But I'm glad that they're back home and feeling much better, they've lost a lot of weight already. I hope you're taking care of yourself too Libby, I know as moms we are constantly putting ourselves last to take care of our children but we also need to be sure we're taking care of ourselves. You're a wonderful mum :) Congratulations to Kevin on his new job, it sounds like he'll be doing a lot of fun stuff. Have a wonderful weekend!!!
Hoping all is fine now with Athena Libby. Great job for Kevin. Sounds like a dream job for him travelling so forth, only thing is will he be away from the family most of the time? My husband was in a job he didn't like too at one stage but a lot happier now in his current position. There is nothing worse than for them to not want to go to work. Hopefully this new job for Kevin will be a lot less stressful for him for sure.:)
+Nete Hope he will still mostly be at home but will definitely be traveling more than her used to. I've asked him to minimise it while my parents are overseas as I have no other backup if both Athena and I are unwell. Having said that he's currently in Sydney for a couple of days for training 😀
You guys are so cute! I'm not pregnant. hahaha! Big congrats on the new job K. Time to drop the mantle of stress into someone else' lap and enjoy the freedom of just being a good employee. Not that it won't be tough but less stress will be worth it. Congrats again! Athena looks as if they have dropped so much weight. I know they didn't want to lose it being so sick. Prayers they are on a full road to recovery and can get back to enjoying themselves. Time for you guys to have a bit of normal. Home! :) I could almost hear the sigh of relief from here.
Im so glad they are feeling better . How long ago did you and Kevin have your surgeries ? My sister and husband both had it done together and i have 3 other friends that had it done 2 years ago.
Oh wow she has lost a lot of weight.
