Hey Robin! I actually did one a few years ago on some popular arrangements. (don’t mind how young I was in the video! Haha) m.ruclips.net/video/it2JaEXg5H8/видео.html
@@JulianGrayMedia thanks for pointing me to it! will check it out. and it just shows that you've been at it for quite a while now :) how long have you been producing actually?
watched it, it was informative. reminded me to try to keep it simple. intro verse breakdown build drop. i think the part that i struggle with is mostly the verse, it always feels like an afterthought, something to bring you to the part that matters, the drop. but i'd like to make more of it. so d you think a video about how you go about making the verse especially in relation to the drop would be interesting?
Thanks for this, much clearer when mapping out a track! Quick Question: I've got the MIDI track set up, but whenever I'm recording tracks from the session view, it overwrites my MIDI arrangement track while it records the other tracks. How do you record session view tracks while keeping the MIDI clip arrangement untouched? Thanks
Super cool idea, I like it! Question - how do you deal with it being offscreen when you're deep in layers? I worry about constantly needing to scroll up and down to figure out where my position is
This is the only issue with this method! I find it unnecessary to see it all the time, but if that is something you require, you can use this in conjunction with locators
Are you saying that tracks that I know and love are the correct arrangement for referencing???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
being able to quickly loop a section of the track is HUGE
thank you!
That's one of the most game changing things about this for me.
great tip.I'd never thought of using a midi track this way. Thanks.
THIS IS A GROUNDBREAKING LEVEL TIP, THANKS BRUV!!!
Thanks Julian! More videos on arrangement would be very welcome!

Good tip! I've been using MIDI clips to arrange forever. It's easier and cleaner than the flags
Much easier to follow!
Great tips. Thank you!
Thats a Nice one
Great trick, thanks mate! :)
Just started producing and this was a massive help! Thank you!
Omg, you are genius.
Useful stuff here. keep up the good work.
Great tip! Many thanks! SM

Can you lock the track in place so it sits in place above the other tracks and doent get affected when scolling?
@@natejephcott5012 is that a thing? Would love that if Ableton supports it
Sooooo cooool
support
It's shocking that Ableton still doesn't provide the arrangement track.

I'm totally paying you 5 $ a month.
would of been cool if u actually read out what u named each section, the names are too small to read
I been doing this for years , I've made vids that teach it going back years on RUclips. I have a feeling you have stole this of my videos content.
I can confidently say i've never seen your channel. Great minds think alike!
