I am a big fan of devon for over 3-4 years and to have the opportunity to observe such a strong both physical but also mental person open up about past trauma and see how beneficial it was to him it is mind boggling. Devon your legacy is so much more than arm wrestling. You inspire so many people me included to better ourselves chase our dreams and have a positive impact on the world. Ketamine iV infusion therapy played a major role in saving my life near the end of 2021. I’ve suffered from chronic depression since I was a teenager in the mid 90s. My business did not survive Covid, and I was in a really bad place mentally. My wife found a clinic nearby and asked me to go to the consult with the doctor. I agreed to go, and I’m so glad I did because I made the decision to move forward with the treatment. I had 2 infusions a week for the first 3 weeks, then once a week for the following 3 weeks, then 1 infusion every other week for another 6 weeks. I’ve never felt more emotionally healthy. As you talked about briefly; this isn’t just a “take drugs, feel better” scenario. It helped me to retrain my brain, and the talk therapy that I did with the Psychiatrist that ran the clinic helped to reinforce that retraining.

These are my favorite type vids, its the deep shit we all need to face, depression, war shit, loss of loved ones, all are traumatic and should be delt with in stages in order to heal, and still have a good quality of life. I have micro dosed for years when depressed, but haven't in over a decade now, but probably are due a run. I think it's the great reset button of life when we start going off course. You already know, i know you've been through lots man, and yet you're still a good person, this is something hard for some to not be angry at the world sometimes. That's all i got to say on here about that, im not going much deeper into it online

@@michaelscott466 It's important to face things in your own time. I did not know the mind expanding effect of drugs, and was inexperienced in lots of ways. The trips I had made me face feelings and realisations that I absolutely was not ready for at that time as a young and immature person. We all need to gather that self awareness, healing, and introspection, but it's not just a magic pill that makes you better, you do have to grow as a person and be larger in experience to attempt such methods of healing. I have had to do so much growing in that time, just to even get back to where I was, and I know I'm not ready for such experiences, but one day I hope like this open person in the comments here that I will be able to heal without breaking.

I have read about ketamine, seems to help many for things that you so greatly talk about. Many dark thoughts can stop you in your track, not easy to see the energi and potential forward. Thanks for your words!

I completely believe in psychedelics and therapy use after 14 years overseas between Afghanistan & Iraq came back stateside with severe PTSD and was told I'd be a good candidate for a psilocybin study after 6 months on a steady daily dose my life is almost back to normal,I actually sleep now "I would go 3-5 days with no sleep at times" and has my life at a more excepted stage instead of a continuous battle within my head.

I've had a question about this sport after looking at some very old footage from around 1988.
They used to do some matches while sitting down, which tends to remove the frequently used method of "leaning over a standing table to use your weight for more advantage".
Do you think sitting down matches would really show who can use their pure arm strength? 🤔

Thanks for sharing Dev, Lost my Brother as well, relatively recent. And Feel a need to push that dark puss out of my cells and really feel that. It is why i havent done psilo since his death, I am afraid to do it.
Did releasing shine your memories of boyhood brotherhood brighter? I think i am in fear of losing those or relinquishing them by letting go....Thanks again.

The potential for hallucinogenics to be used in mental health / therapy is untapped and boundless. I never tried ketamine myself but have used LSD many many times, as well as mushrooms and one experience with a very strong extract of salvia. LSD and Mushroom are euphoric, whereas ketamine and salvia are dissociatives - the only time I've ever had ego death was on this heroic dose of salvia, and it's simultaneously the scariest experience of my life as well as one of the most conducive to lasting positive changes in my life. I can honestly say that hallucinogenics have have a tremendously positive impact on my mental health. I also believe that somewhat regular usage of LSD in decently strong doses (almost every trip I have is 400ug and above) has had a definite impact on my psychological resilience. There is some data to support this, and as the taboos are stripped away I'm sure that more and more studies will prove the same.
