Do you have plans for this My 8yr old Autistic son would just go crazy over this. He loves elevators. Watches You Tube video of people riding them and talking about them. We have been looking for a way to make or buy one but have found nothing. any help would be so greatly appreciated
This build was actually an attempt to make the door latching system and drop key. The actual mechanism behind it is very disorganized and messy. If you would like to see a much simpler elevator using a similar door concept, check out the version four elevator. I also have an in depth look video explaining the mechanism.

I built all this stuff while I was in high school as well. Just moved on in life and stopped building with Legos.

The light on the top floor doesnt appear to be working but I dont really know that for sure because you tore it down as soon as you were done with it
