Oh, and I'd also recommend hooking up both wheels to the power, as this would make sure that either side of the belt is receiving uniform force. This would also most likely reduce the stepping motion.
I wonder how it feels if you shrink yourself to that size and find yourself puking on the other end but on the otherhand, this is a very great creation
You might be able to do this with the lego technic chain links. You'd need to figure out a way to keep it railed, but I think it's doable! nice work nevertheless!

Very nice. Could you build in some gear reduction, so that the motor runs at a higher speed, but the stairs run slower with more torque? That may take out the jitters at a lower speed. Maybe.
Sinom each one of the plates is about fourth square studs, actual mini figures are about 3 1/2 studs wide from elbow to elbow and one stud from Stomach to back, that just gives you the real scale of this thing (By plates I mean the steps)
Sinom well then, mini figures are like 4-5 studs tall and the steps are 8 long,so imagine an escalator so big you could lay down on the steps with room to spare Also I meant forty not fourth
How about a system where the force is only at the bottom (or top) and the pieces are essentially grabbed and pushed causing the rest to have to move? Just tossing out ideas. Great stuff again!
2:48 imagine being on an escalator that fast, it'll be a whole new type of roller coaster...
You would have to get a running start so you don’t fall over
2:40 That escalated quickly...
DUDE DONT STAIR
I came for this comment and I will leave for it
Well that escalated quickly
Maybe by adding a spiral gear, you might get smoother action, instead of the step-like motion. Otherwise, looking amazing!
No problem!

Ah, alright then!
This has to be my favorite lego creation anyone has ever made
I'm speechless by the point that it's more than just a creation
the friction is real) great build!
I wonder how it feels if you shrink yourself to that size and find yourself puking on the other end but on the otherhand, this is a very great creation

My lord, this is one of the most awesome thing which was built by LEGO... :O You're a true fanatic LEGO world creator!
WOAH! I have NEVER seen a lego escilator in my entire life! This is awesome!
Thanks Gibi.
Yeah
This would be a very interesting GBC module. Great build!

this is such a good design, just such a shame at the space it would take up in a lego building would make it too big

This really is amazing, you are very talented! I've always wanted to build one of these!
An excellent project! Well done!
This was very uplifting to watch.
Very nice design!
my ocd says: make it run smoother!
thank you, sir!
Very great engineering!
So good creation !!!!
Very impressive and realistic!
Wow! Genius! I’ll never going to use stairs on my house anymore... Or an exercise bicycle!
Would be a nice GBC module.
I could see this in a Lego City mall.
Doesnt run that smooth , but its a great exsample of how to build something like this . Great job , really
This is amazing! Subscribed, can't wait to see more stuff like this!
Very realistic, add a handrail that moves as well
You might be able to do this with the lego technic chain links. You'd need to figure out a way to keep it railed, but I think it's doable!
nice work nevertheless!

I love the custom chain that you made! Awesome MOC!
Amazing.you build an escalator from lego 😂😂.
But still its Kind of awesome
Maybe try worm gears to smooth out the operation?
Seems a little bit jumpy. Try using a spiral gear instead
Great build.
I'd love to see someone riding that escalator. XP

Yes, there are more languages than english, what's the problem?

WOW
Great Job..!
A LEGO classic, by classic I mean one of a kind
WOW!!!Cool!
i would work on the gear ratio so the action of the escalator is more smooth and doesn't hiccup
Once I wanted to build it... Excellent!
Very creative

really cool!
cool! now I know how a rollercoaster works
Nicer Knifes ?
VaasWhoStaresAtSam yes?/ ja?
Nicer Knifes Why rollercoasters?
VaasWhoStaresAtSam sorry! I ment escalator, i am german and i am not the best in english
It took me till you showed the train control to get how huge this thing is

Alban Pema I really don't know how big exactly a mini figure is so expressing everything in mini figures doesn't really help me xD
Sinom well then, mini figures are like 4-5 studs tall and the steps are 8 long,so imagine an escalator so big you could lay down on the steps with room to spare
Also I meant forty not fourth
Team up with someone building a massive lego mall for a convention and build escalators for it!
すご!
Brilliant!!!
Cool! but your system might need a flywheel for smooth operation..
How about a system where the force is only at the bottom (or top) and the pieces are essentially grabbed and pushed causing the rest to have to move? Just tossing out ideas. Great stuff again!

Super pomysł i wykonanie
Wonderful!
😎 Nice effort! 👍
Try to use full motorpower by using reducting reducting gears : you'll get more force
Nice job
