Hey Trypal. I am the objective master. I don't care how many enemies, I just try and get the objective, because let's be real, no one on your team is going to accomplish the objective. The best you can do is try, and get frustrated that your teammates aren't providing cover fire. And, do you have the problem, where all they do after the match is switch only 2 players on teams, and the team that accomplished every objective doesn't even let you place one explosive, or get even 1 second of capture?

I'd classify myself as the most inconsistent mofo on the planet. Some games I topscore with a 50 killstreak or something, and some games I can't kill a level 1 specialist from behind.

I was normally #1 on my team and usually for both teams, and could have gotten MVP pretty much every game but I mostly was the guy pushed up beyond the objective, trying to keep the enemy team away from it. That or I was an “objective camper”.. which I think is a miss leading term. When I think of campers.. I think of snipers on hill tops or people with shotguns hiding around trees or door ways.. not people playing/defending the objectives.

I have a video somewhere on my channel from a Walker Assault match where I don’t think anyone on my team except for me had more than 10 kills while the other team had 5/6 people with more than 40 kills and over 10 people with at least 30.
hero hoggers are an absolute nightmare for me, i literally dont see a SINGLE hero in the game, and once i die, literally all heroes are already chosen, absolutely stunned by how scared these assholes are to rush a single droid...
I'm objective player and hero hogger. Every time I'm a hero, if I try to actually get kills I die right away, so I just stay back and usually spend double the amount of time to get one extra kill
Just last night I pulled off a last second defuse during overtime that won us the game. It’s amazing seeing 5 teammates near an objective but none of them trying to defuse it
Sadly i am a number 6. I even use squad shield on my officer and shield on the specialist. When i am angry that noone plays the objective i just pop up my shield and run straight for the objective other times i sneak into the objectives. Objective is my life and to be honest i don't even want to see my K:D:A beacouse it must be horrible. xD
I throw myself on the obj even when all hope is lost. But if I can clearly see no one else is trying...i say f it and go kill whoring. If you can't beat em join em.

My 5 types of Battlefront 2 Players. 1.) Run and Gunners. You should know by now when they is a shooter game, there are run and gunners. They run around the map gunning any enemy that gets in their way. Equipped with the short range weapon that fires fast, dealing tons of damage in seconds. Like the CR-2 with reduced recoil, TL-50 with reduced spread and improved cooling, or SE-44C with rapid fire and improved cooling. These guys EXCEL at close range combat, making them dangerous at maps such as, Kessel, Jabba's Palace, indoors at Bespin. Your only hope is to gun them down before they gun you down in close quarters. Which will fail 75% of the time. They're weak at long range. Catch them in a long hall to beat them. 2.) The LRHDD (Long Range Heavy Damage Dealer). These guys prefer to keep you at a distance. Using the gun that has longest range and dealing the most damage. Which also means the slowest rate of fire. They go for weapons such as EL-16HFE, with improved range and reduced recoil, FWMB-10K with night vision, S-5 with Reduced Recoil, or NT-242 with dual zoom and improved cooling. They prefer to stay away from the fighting and shoot at a distance staying safe. They are good on maps such as Kashyyyk and Geonosis as those maps often favor the long range weapons, These guys are weak in close combat. Flank around to take them out. 3.) The Explosioneers. These guys are about one thing and one thing only. Explosions. They will equip any and all items that dose explosions and explosion damage. They will be equipped with a DC-15LE with Exploding shot, the Blurrg-1120 with reduced recoil and exploding shot, or a NT-242 with dual zoom and disruptor shot. They will have any star cards that improve their grenades or equip the homing shot missiles or equipped with that annoying explosive sentry. Not to mention their explosive weaponry makes shield useless to enemies. Flank around these guys and pray they don't find you. Your shield will not save you. 4.) Bursties. These guys are all about burst weapons. I've underestimated the power of burst weapons more then once so I know what they are capable of. Equipped with weapons such as the A280 with improved range and cooling, the Blurrg-1120 with reduced recoil and improved burst, or A280-CFE with burst mode. These guys are mostly good at all ranges, and can kill you with a few trigger pulls. Pray your automatic will be faster and kill them before they kill you. 5.) Sniper lovers. No matter what map... no matter what range... these guys love one thing and one thing only. Their sniper rifles. ALWAYS equipped with a sniper rifle of any kind, whether it be sneaky or aggressive, they will snipe you. Luckily they are weak against automatic and burst weapons and close range as their weapons are single fire and are meant for long range. Beware the A280-CFE wielder though. That rifle can be good at close range as well with burst mode. And those are my 5 types of Battlefront 2 players.
I have advise for you. If you really like Galactic Assault, I recommend officer, and just pop squad shields over the objective and battle command allies. Personally, I recommend the Officer Class Bluurg-1120 for that, with Upgraded Burst and Explosive Shot. But if you're like me and just like objective, play Strike. I am much better at Strike than any other gamemode, and everyone on Strike is an objective player. (My recommended officer rules again) Have fun!
What about that one player who goes down fighting the whole enemy team alone and survives doing so for like 5 minutes... Was playing as arc trooper and got surrounded by almost the whole enemy team and fought them off for awhile while my team captured objectives.
Flanking camping snipers is my most satisfying thing in the game! 👍 They have their eyes on a hundred metres away only, and it's so easy to pick them off 😁😂

I absolutely hate it when I'm in overtime and its running out and my team won't run inside the zone to reset the time so we can try to win. Literally i'll sacrifice myself just to try and reset that time, but it seems as though my team would rather live and lose

I wish Turrets would fire the moment they spot the enemy and won't stop firing until they are dead. Like an ACTUAL turret would. I would place the turret down a lot more often and use Officer more if it did.

I remember hero hoggers in Battlefront 2015.. they memorized the hero pick-up locations and then would sit in the back with Han or Lando the whole game. Vehicle campers were just as bad, if not worse.

I absolutely hate it when I'm in overtime and its running out and my team won't run inside the zone to reset the time so we can try to win. Literally i'll sacrifice myself just to try and reset that time, but it seems as though my team would rather live and lose

The Artic Cube they should make so your time as hero slowly goes down when your not in combat and the more kills you get the longer duration you have
I basically just play as all of these, it depends on the day, Monday I kinda like to be a noob, Tuesday I like to be a hardass objective player, Wednesday I like to passively kill noobs as they try to make their way to the objective, Thursdays I'm an un-certified pilot cuz I'm super bad at flying, Fridays I complete and utter destruction. Now comes the weekend, Homework :'(

Being an objective player is so very satisfying when you can tip the balance of a whole match to carry your team to victory. Also love me some licenced piloting, what would Star Wars be without x-wings blowing up tie fighters?
I wish Turrets would fire the moment they spot the enemy and won't stop firing until they are dead. Like an ACTUAL turret would. I would place the turret down a lot more often and use Officer more if it did.

11, the player that intentionally dies to switch classes because the squad already has a player with the same class as him. I like playing like that, everyone in the squad has different classes, no overlap and it's diverse. In reality you're suppose to play like that

I remember hero hoggers in Battlefront 2015.. they memorized the hero pick-up locations and then would sit in the back with Han or Lando the whole game. Vehicle campers were just as bad, if not worse.
