I absolutely love your camper and it's great that you are showing it to everyone and I have a vintage camper too and I'm trying to restore it but yes isn't it lovely to just sit there and enjoy it. Have fun and keep showing more videos.
It's so interesting to watch tours of trailers/campers done by women and then by men. You tour sheds some light on how you make a home on wheels with your little collectibles and how you have adapted to the small kitchen features. You began with your lovely "anthropomorphic" curtains and nicknacks and demo'ed how your sink and stove would feel to use. The fuzzy toilet seat cover and chenille bath rug let us know no comfort or beautification was too trivial. A man would open the tour outside with about 20 min. of pointing out the condition of the sheathing, how the windows survived 40 years in the elements, where and how many propane tanks it has, the hitch, the size of the wheels, size and make/model of the tail lights and FINALLY, open the door, lean inside and scan everything in the dark, step in and wax rhapsodic on the fuses, the scary heater, marvel at the curvy plywood leg for the dinette table and lament you just don't see that sort of thing anymore and then walk out, shut the door and say goodbye without ceremony. I loved your tour ; ) !
I love your camper, it takes me to another, better time. I also love your anthropomorphic plaques. I have 2 anthropomorphic things, I love them to bits! I have one really darling kitsch girl bust, she has that wonderful face, a blue gingham dress and is holding a tiny vase where a little sprig or flower fits in it. I look for them in second hand stores, but rarely see any. I'm going to put them in the vintage camper! I don't want tooooo many, just enough to make me feel good! And just being in the camper is so peaceful... I can't describe it. I know exactly how you feel about your camper and all of your great vintage things. And you are lovely. I wish we were neighbours.
Oh Beverly thanks so much for the lovely post....It's all about the nostalgia of family and our youth for sure! I can't look at my camper without smiling. Thanks for subscribing :)
I love that you kept everything vintage and vintage looking, it's a great build, you did a fantastic job, and your clothing just rounds it all out! Enjoyed your video a lot!
Oh my goodness, Your camper is so precious. I love it! I love all kinds of vintage things. I would love to have a camper like yours all dressed in vintage style. The trailers that are made today as well as ones from previous years I find tacky. I love the 1940's, 50's, 60's and 1970's style of authenticity look.
Thank-you for the intricate tour from a woman's point of view! I'm not into the electronics that men talk about for 45 minutes and put me to sleep with! All they do is talk about power and batteries, lines and hoses, blah blah blah, just cut to the chase and show me the inside! I Love how you have maintained the 70's look in your camper, and the way you described it, I hung unto every word. I understand how important it is to keep your Grandmother's vision alive. I also loved the way you dressed for this occasion! What a hoot, I just KNEW your story was going to be good! You're a great lady, I wish I could meet you. I Love your camper, you're a great narrative. Thanks for sharing!
just loved this lady and her camper, she is a real gem and the camper ha,isnt the lady lovely, her voice,so soft and sweet, full of enthusiasm, big hugs to her from Athens,Greece
I love your little camper! Thank you for showing us where the bathroom is. I bought a 1969 Shasta 1500 its all damage right now but I can see great renovation coming soon! My camper has a big square hole in the back and I don't know what was there. But after seeing your bathroom I am thinking it was a bathroom area as well.

I really digg that paper dispenser! I like your retro style. Your fridge probably just needs a freon charge; that would probably do it. Your looking a around 200 (it's usually close about 100 just for the repair person to show up).
@@VintageCamperGalWisconsin oh.. Your not kidding.. It really cold. If he comes to the show i am at the sunglass stand. Tell him to stop and say hi. We have buy 1 pair of sun glasses i will give him two free.. So it 25 once tax is added. He will get three pair to go home with. He could get you a pair for Valentine's day. Happy Valentine's!

Nice, fyi steel wool should remove the rust spots on the stove. Not sure about the sink but should route a drain with PVC pipe. I'm just Mr. fix it. The door may require some welding for the frame and of course the new handle.

Each to their own. I am a vintage freak from the 30s to 70s but your collection is on the kitsch, tat end of the 70's spectrum. Is that an American thing ? ... the celebration of bad taste as opposed to a considered, curated representation of this era? All the plastic doo-dabs really look knockoff and tacky. There are much better examples of the 70's design aesthetic in kitchenware that was still cheap, cheerful and mass produced but considered form and function. The overdose of the anthropomorphic fruit/vege extravaganza on the curtains really tipped the interior to twee train wreck for me. Kudos for commitment I guess.

I like that you used the original cushion covers. A lot of people don't, and I think it's a shame.
Thanks, I try to keep it all original--except for a few storage containers and my AC -- can't take the heat.

anthropromorphic means having human characteristics in appearance and behavior. I don't think you're using it appropriately.
Wide Awake yep you are correct. Nancy Lynn and Hildi designed anthropomorphic housewares back in the day.😉
Actually she is using it correctly. My husband is a language and vocabulary expert and I double checked it with him.
