      NoMeansNo - The Day Everything Became Nothing FULL EP (1988) 0516am 7.9.24 who.....................? i met many a slade or brother rat. as soon as you meet them - that dreaded sigh of discontent as you realise it's another case of sitting in the sidelines as they, the cohort or new work mate or mew acquaintance, giving off the scent of wanna-be achievement, engage in the climbing of that greasy pole to success.... one just cant be arsed engaging with folk on that level.......... especially if it's a dead-end job. now if you woz a rock promoter or a man who had begun running his own business.... brother rat might come to the fore. you never know.

    I have old friends approaching their 50's still listening to this shit. I guess some of us never break out of that teenage mindset

    • @Bullntheheather
      @Bullntheheather 6 лет назад +9

      Leon Herperger think about what you just said.
      Then take a close look at music in general.
      Is it really that mind blowing that every generation has its particular music?
      Men and women in their sixties say the same thing about Led Zeppelin.
      Has nothing to do with a teenage mindset.
      What would you prefer people in their 50’s listen to?
      Such a square thing to say.
      Sorry to come off catty.
      It just bums me out when people feel they must eventually grow out music because that’s “kid” music.

      Some of us never grow up and start listening to the proverbial 'that' shit. Nomeansno trancends age, pop culture, punk, egotistical self-loathing, and definitely those who feel like they're much more mature and have moved on to less meaningful drab because they probably never felt it anyways.
