Japanese have 2 version with different ages rating, you can see at botan part she bet ethan finger is gone in cero Z version which is highest ages rating. And Botan and other girl is playing the lower rating version less gore.

At first, I thought Ethan not losing his fingers in the first clip was a glitch, but then I remember hearing somewhere that games in Japan don’t really have gore or dismemberment(one example being Future Gohan from DBZ, having a limp arm in DBZ games opposed to having his arm missing like in the show) makes me wonder if Japan ever allowed a game like Mortal Kombat to be released.
Late response because the algorithm just lead me here, but Mortal Kombat haven't been sold in Japan for console since MK Trilogy for the Playstation. The rating boards over there do not look kindly on HUMANS being amputated- splatter as many monsters as you like, but when it's realistic humans the age-rating skyrockets. Far as I know it's not that MK is BANNED or illegal though- it's just that it sold very poorly back in the day, and selling it in Japan would require such heavy alterations that WB believes it's far more hassle than they'll ever make back in sales.

Marine and Flare simply tagged along to watch Noel play RE8, they both have their own channels and stream their own content as well. As for Noel’s content, she has a good mix between games and other variety content, talking streams, karaoke, ASMR, duolingo, are a few examples. As for games she’s been playing recently, other than RE8 she’s also been playing Dragon Quest XIS quite a bit

@@christianjaycuevas8001 Yeah I think Marine and Flare decided to watch Noel instead of playing it themselves. In regards to watching the streams, my Japanese is at an elementary level but I still find watching them live to be a lot of fun, a lot of the experience transcends the language barrier. So yeah I’d definitely recommend trying a few live streams and seeing if you can enjoy it, I think you will!
