Love, love, love the thought of creating my own planner/journal. I look forward to more videos and will watch the older ones. Love the hand writing as well!
You're my bullet journal inspiration. I bought a purple Leuchtturm with the warm colored pen loops. I love how you do your bullet journals, they're simple, yet so creative.
Your spread turned out beautiful! I was debating whether to film my January plan with me before or on the 1st of January... but looking at your beautiful spreads, I'm so inspired now Im going to start filming tomorrow :') Thanks for infecting me kara :')
+TheCoffeeMonster Thanks Hannah! The only reason I got away with filming it so early is because I didn't have to worry about calculating blank pages for the rest of December ;)
I just love how you took the one notebook (green) and divided it into two separate notebooks (yellow and blue). If you combine yellow and blue, you get green! clever.
hi, my names Lindsey. I love absolutely all your stuff, your a huge inspiration to me. I have loved reading and writing since 8 when I started. At 15, I had my 1st poem published about seeing my grandfather the day b4 he passed. I wrote this at age 12. Yrs later, at age 20 life happened & I kept a journal on day 2 day life here & there but totally stopped everything else. About age 25 or 26 I went through life horrors & when i was 28ish, Something devastating happened which traumatized me severely & wouldn't pick up much of anything again until age. 2 yrs ago, I was diagnosed with Ptsd, generalized anxiety, depression, adhd, & ocd. The after affect of the traumatizing events left me in a debilitating state 4ever changing me. (leading to that diagnosis). I was a care free girl who loved life, I had hopes & dreams, & I wanted to change the world & it all crashed around me. Long story short, I'm now 33, been sober since 2014, getting help for my issues, & slowly becoming that girl I was & loved. It was much help to my drs, God, my fiance, & your stuff along with Roman Atwood Volga on youtube. Now I'm writing more, bullet journaling, trying to healthy & fit & working hard to get my life back. I fell by the way side last yr but got back up. ( im still not able to see my children so I do still struggle ) but I just want to say thank u for ur help saving me. I am forever indebted to you. I would love starting a youtube channel but just have no idea what to do. lol Anyways, much love. your amazing & beautiful
This video automatically made me subscribe! I've never really looked into bullet journaling but I'm so interested in it! Thanks so much for this video! So inspiring! Can't wait to watch your other videos. 💜
Your bullet journal looks so pretty! I am hooked on your channel now and am going to try to bullet journal from January onwards. Any tips for starting? Or do you already have a video on that?
I have learned so much from your videos about Bullet Journaling, Mandalas and a clear and visually attractive way to set up and use my Bullet Journal. I am also a fountain pen enthusiast. I have watched hours worth of You Tube videos about Bullet Journals, Planners, and Art Journaling. You have culled the essentials of the Bullet Journal. Thank you so much. Linda M. ..... P.S. The spreads you are working with are brilliant!
+Linda Makarewicz Aw, thank you so much Linda! I have experimented a lot (and will continue to do so), so you'll see me trying lots of new ideas in the future as well :)
Teach me your ways!! Obsessed with your handwriting and doodles! Would love to see a video on the pens you use and how you learned to doodle and write in different fonts, super interested in Bullet Journaling, think I'll be starting soon!
For the past year I've been thinking about starting a diary. But I'm not much of a writer. So today I accidentally discovered a pin about bullet journalling. And I'm really excited. This is something I see myself doing! So tomorrow I'm going to get myself a notebook and dig up my pens to start my 2016 journal. Thanks for the inspiration. I will be following future posts!
Boho Berry, will you please tell me more about the quarterly calendar and brain dump pages you have? It was not shown in the following month's video and I am very curious how you use it. Thanks!!!!
I love your journal format, I've copied a lot of your methods. My journals were always so messy to go back to and read, now that it has a proper lay out, it's much nicer. :) I love your videos.
Really enjoy your videos and I appreciate how you show us your "oops" and how you fix them and don't stress over them. Your journals are gorgeous and very inspiring 😉
I just got a new Leuchtturm1917 notebook today and have been setting up my first bullet journal all evening. A blank notebook is intimidating, so I borrowed a lot of your ideas. Thank you so much for sharing your work!
Just watching your lettering is amazing!!!! I wish I had that talent... and focus! My ADD is just TOO much so to sit down and fill all that you did would take me ages! I love the gratitude page, I'm gonna start doing that. It is so simple and yet I don't know why I have never done it before. And the Life 10 level is amazing too. Thanks for sharing!
You BuJo is so amazing! I daily work in one but mine is a little messy compared to yours! Thanks so much for doing the process pages. That helps a lot and gives us great ideas. LOVE LOVE LOVE your handwriting! So want to learn to do calligraphy! You are such an inspiration! Keep up the great work!
I've been looking at Bullet Journaling for a few days now and your youtube channel sealed the deal for me. Going to start attempting this in January! Love your content. Yes to all the videos you mentioned!
This is SO helpful! Also probably the ONLY 25 minutes RUclips video I've actually sat through and listened to the whole thing. Thank you so much for sharing your planner, I'm definitely going to try this for 2016.
+Artist Explores The World Thanks so much! I've been a bit worried about the length of my videos but people seem to be getting a lot of value from them so I'm not sweating it TOO much ;)
Hi!! As a lot of others you have inspired me to start a BuJo at the beginning of the new year. Could you do a video with some tips or stories on exactly how you started yours? Thank you so much :)
I've been so disorganized for years . . . post-it notes all over the house, separate notebooks for this and that, and just general piles of stuff all over the house! Thanks to your videos, I'm starting my first bullet journal for 2016. Thanks so much for your videos!
+AndiCat14 Andi - you and I. I fought tooth and nail to NOT be organized...but that just didn't work for me. (hahahaha) So, I'm giving into the force and using a journal this year. Here's wishing you all the best in 2016.
I think this type of journaling/organisation is just want I was wanting to have in 2016!! So glad I found you, thank you for making this video...honestly I'm already feeling more optimistic about the new year :)
Queen Mara can you send me your info. I have a 16 yr old son and a 12 yr old daughter. And me. You can pick which of us you want as your pen pal! Yeah!
I just found you on RUclips and I love how you set your journal/planner up! I've always gone with preset planner notebooks but this is something I will consider in the future for creative freedom. Also!!! I've been looking into starting actually journaling and have been looking for dotted grid notebooks and I think you have just given me a new option!
+Shaira Tuazon Thanks Shaira! I have used probably every planner under the sun but this is the first that I have been able to stick with. Having the freedom to create my own layouts and adapt the book to my needs was such a huge revelation for me :)
Could you please make a video about your handwriting practice? It will be very useful and inspiring for me...Thanks a lot, you are really good at it. Have a happy holidays.
Hi. Thinking of setting up my first ever bullet journal for 2016, and your videos have helped me so much! Your handwriting and illustrations are amazing by the way!
Seriously.. i found your videos, and the bullet jourrnal concept like two days ago, AND I LOVE IT! i've already ordered a Leuchtturm notebook in yellow on amazon. But i really just want to say that your videos are awesome, and i love them, don't ever stop doing them!!
HI Kara, where do you go for the Post with me challenge prompts etc? I'm new to BuJo and thought it might be a great way to understand what I want to include and what I don't as my first journal grows.
Would you film a video about hand lettering? Maybe even a series, like how to get started with cursive, and then another video that shows the next steps etc.?
+Miss Priss Morgan This Friday's video is going to be all about handwriting including resources, how I practice, etc. I have a feeling there will be lots of handwriting/hand lettering videos in my future, so I'll create a playlist to house them all as well :)
I am SO enjoying your videos (and will get over to your blog as soon as the holidays slow down). I intended to try out your bullet journaling style - but there is something about bullet journaling (as opposed to planning in a week-at-a-glace/spaces for days laid out already for the year) that concerns me for my lifestyle. Could you tell me how you will handle this situation in your journal? In addition to all the other responsibilities of home/family/dog/job - I am back in college (career changer), and I get hefty homework loads at each class. This last semester I would write the assignments down in a normal assignment calender the day they were due ( a week/two weeks in advance). The assignments have many parts so that writing them out take a number lines. How can I do that on a bullet journal where time seems to go day by day and your future date activities are given only a line - and yet still keep them ever front and center in my planning (out of sight-out of mind, you know)? How would you bullet journal future assignments for a college student - or in my case, a student PLUS all the rest of adult life? THANK YOU for this help - and all the rest you have already given me.
+Mc Kenna Hi and thanks for the compliments! :) As far as your assignments, I might create an "Assignment" collection page. Maybe a weekly page of sorts where the page is divided into 5 sections, and you have your assignments for the week written in there? Or a 2-week spread with one week on each page? I hope that helps! :)
Thank you the inspiration! Can you share the specific pen you used for most of this video (I'm looking at your resources and not sure which one, or the width...i really like the look and darkness of it). And thank you for listing the resources with the video...that is so helpful!
I have a regular planner (I am a busy and messy chemist, it's way easier for me to use these), but I am still trying to incorporate some of your amazing ideas. I already copied the 10 level life wheel and I think it's so great to keep track of your life; in the past I tried with different kind of graphs, tables, etc. , but this is awesome and great to look at. Thank you and rrally looking forward other videos! new subscriber! eheh
do you have a video on , Exercise Training scheduling in your Amazing Bullet journal ? this Bullet journal , I tried a couple years ago, but it faded...then this 2016, I bumped into your channel, and am totally re-inspired. Thank you so much for your service to the Community. Cheers ;-)
+Kanzee Thank you so much! I don't have anything on exercise at the moment, but I've got some fitness goals this year so you can bet that there will be at least one video on the subject :)
Thank you for sharing this vid, I'm new to bullet journaling and I wasn't sure how I wanted to do my monthly spread and I love how you have done yours with the all day, morning, and evening! Also I must say I love your handwriting. I'm going to have to start practicing too, not sure how to go about that, but it's a must. The journal I've started out with, my handwriting just sucks.
+Ali's Bookshelf Thanks Ali! I've been getting a LOT of questions about my handwriting and how I practice, so I'll be making a video on that subject very soon :) The monthly spread was something that I struggled with in the original method, so this was my solution :)
I am inspired to revise my bullet journal -- I started in June, and it has gotten very utilitarian (and ugly?). I love your ideas and examples! Thanks!
+Jennifer Spirko Thanks Jennifer! Nothing wrong with utilitarian! Mine is highly functional and above all a TOOL to keep my life on track and organized... the prettiness is just a bonus :)
Lovely video Sweetheart. Very helpful and easy to follow. I'm new to Bullet journaling and I'm actually really excited about it. I was wondering if you're coming to England on your travels? What's miracle morning and what fountain pen do you use? I hope you have a lovely weekend. Sending love from England.xxx
+Laura Filby Thank you Laura! I will definitely be in England when I travel Europe... as of right now I have London and Yorkshire on my list for sure :) I wrote a whole post about my Miracle Morning routine: www.bohoberry.com/morning-routine My fountain pens are listed in the description of this video :) Hope you're having a great weekend!
+Boho Berry Oh my stars. I'm In South Yorkshire! How exciting. Get ready to see breathtaking views. I'll take a look at the morning routine. Thank You my Dear.xxx 😊
I'm addicted to your videos and planning on starting BJ as soon as my current planer finishes! Also- when can we expect the blog journal video? Really looking forward to this one! Thank you for all the inspiration :)
Mahalo for sharing your journal. The financial planner page is probably the most useful idea I would like to adopt. I am also into handwriting and pens. I really struggled with it till I found Drew from Calligrafikas on instagram who uses brush pens and watercolir on paint brushes. I have also found that an oblique flex nib dip pen (I got mine from speedball) works best for smaller lettering. Can't wait till your next video. It's nice to get ideas and see the evolution of what works and what didn't. Happy Holidays !!
+Kimiko I love Drew's Instagram as well! I've got a couple of oblique calligraphy pens on my wish list this year... really hoping "Santa" comes through for me ;)
+Boho Berry not sure if you found a quote for your planner but I found this for mine: A year from now you will wish you had started today. -Karen Lamb. Hope Santa brings you fountain pen goodness :)
+Abby K Hi Abby! I've written a couple of blog posts about the Miracle Morning, you can find more info here: www.bohoberry.com/morning-routine/ The clear ruler is by Artist's Loft and I got it at Michael's. Here is a similar one on Amazon: amzn.to/1IiS7PR
Hi! I'm loving your videos! Just have a few questions for you :) When do you use each type of pen? I'm trying to start a bullet journal, but my standard ballpoint pen keeps smudging. Any tips? Also, how would you say the pens perform in terms of preservation? Do writings in your journal fade over time? Do they bleed through?
+Krizzia R Hi Krizzia! I use my Faber-Castell PITT pens as my main writing pen (all of the black you see). I use Staedtler Triplus Fineliners for color. The Faber-Castell are waterproof, acid free & archival, so no issues there. I haven't noticed any fading with the Staedtlers but have only been using them since August so I can't attest to them long term yet. Bleed-through really depends on your paper quality. Hope that helps!
You've inspired me to start bullet journaling! How many months do you usually fit in one notebook? I plan to write my feelings and thoughts in here as well, so I only have one notebook to carry around so hope I don't fill one every 6 weeks lol
+robynelizabeth1 I usually fit about 4-5 months in one notebook. I have heard of people filing one up in 2 or taking a whole year to fill it up... it really just depends on how much you write in it :)
Ur vids r just so inspirational But the leuchtturm notebook r so expensive I can't afford it ~~~ I found out the Collins is much cheaper Is there any kind of notebook u recommend that is suitable for bullet journaling ?
Yours are my absolute favourite bullet journal videos! I'm super inspired to get back to my own journal now!! One request, would you please please do a video about the fonts you use and how you decorate? I just think they're so unique to look at!!! Thank you!!
+Liz Grier You can Bullet Journal in any notebook and with any pens... Maybe you could start a "practice" bullet journal in a cheap notebook until your "fancy" one arrives :)
Wow love the way this looks, I'm using a Filofax a5 with diyfish weekly and day pew page, but I'm thinking of switching to this style instead! Your writing is beautiful.
+Taming Bubbles Thank you so much! I've actually heard of several people bullet journaling in their Filofax. It would be pretty simple I think, if you want to keep your cover and dashboard, etc. :)
I want to start bullet journal-ing and I want to start it with ruled notebook. Can you make a video about Bullet Journaling in ruled notebook? I'll be so happy! Btw, love your youtube and your blog!
+Andita Nataatmadja Thanks Andita! Honestly, you'll probably never see me bullet journal in a ruled notebook. I love the structure of the dot grid TOO much :)
Ah that's funny. You switched from a combined personal/work green journal to separated yellow and blue journals! Colour theoooooooory
+Sabina Alderman I thought the same thing! So cool.
Omgggg. I didn't notice that at all. 😂
Love, love, love the thought of creating my own planner/journal. I look forward to more videos and will watch the older ones. Love the hand writing as well!
I love your handwriting so much!!! So jealous!
+Elizabeth Mendel Thanks! I practice a LOT ;)
+Boho Berry Yeah, your handwriting is amazing! I wish I could write so beautifully!
You're my bullet journal inspiration. I bought a purple Leuchtturm with the warm colored pen loops. I love how you do your bullet journals, they're simple, yet so creative.
+abbyknappenberger Thank you so much! :) I've been eyeing the purple for a while... might be my next purchase :)
WOW! This is SO inspiring in so many ways. Definitely going to try bullet journaling this year!
Boho Berry *Helen XD
haha I use a 3 ring binder so I should be good for planning january's spread then!
+TheCoffeeMonster Oops! Sorry Helen! My mind wasn't at full blast last night haha. :(
I just love how you took the one notebook (green) and divided it into two separate notebooks (yellow and blue). If you combine yellow and blue, you get green! clever.

that color coding trick is amazing!
+Vanessa Fourxblessed It's one of my favorite hacks for sure! :)
Glad you showed the page you messed up and covered. Screwing up and not being able to tear out the page holds me back from using bound notebooks.
+Kelley Frye Aw, thanks Kelley! :)
Thank you the inspiration! Can you share the specific pen you used for most of this video (I'm looking at your resources and not sure which one, or the width...i really like the look and darkness of it). And thank you for listing the resources with the video...that is so helpful!
+Kat Garrett Hi Kat! Yes, I primarily use the Faber-Castell PITT Pen in "F" (0.5mm)
Hope that helps :)
Thank you and rrally looking forward other videos!
new subscriber! eheh
+Filomena Perri Thank you SO much! :)
This is so cool! I'm so lazy though so I'd actually end up buying one already made. :)
do you have a video on , Exercise Training scheduling in your Amazing Bullet journal ? this Bullet journal , I tried a couple years ago, but it faded...then this 2016, I bumped into your channel, and am totally re-inspired. Thank you so much for your service to the Community. Cheers ;-)
+Kanzee Thank you so much! I don't have anything on exercise at the moment, but I've got some fitness goals this year so you can bet that there will be at least one video on the subject :)
Thumbs up and You Boho Berry are going on my Gratitude Page..lol Cheers ;-)
Wow, this is complete planner goals!
+LolaClassic917 Thanks! :)
i LOVE the level 10 life spread, but i can barely draw a straight line to save my life, let alone perfect circles. do you use a compass to draw them?
+samantha ! Yup, I used a compass in pencil and then went over the lines in pen to make it look more hand-drawn :)
thanks, kara! i appreciate it :)
What a beautiful setup!! I'm in awe 😀
+Vegan Organizer Thank you!!! :)
Your handwriting is amazing! I'm so inspired to practice now!
+Anna Thank you!!!
I will definitely be in England when I travel Europe... as of right now I have London and Yorkshire on my list for sure :)
I wrote a whole post about my Miracle Morning routine: www.bohoberry.com/morning-routine
My fountain pens are listed in the description of this video :)
Hope you're having a great weekend!
+Boho Berry Oh my stars. I'm In South Yorkshire! How exciting. Get ready to see breathtaking views. I'll take a look at the morning routine. Thank You my Dear.xxx 😊

+worqshop Thanks! I'll be doing a video and blog post about my blog bullet journal before the end of January for sure :)
Your writing is so beautiful
What kind of fitness tracker are you wearing? Could you do a video on it? I love your videos! :) I've been setting up my 2016 bullet journal as well.
+Meadow Violetmoon (meadowwitch) That's an UP2! I love it SO much! I might do a review on it very soon :)
Boho Berry Thanks for letting me know!
Lovely setup! I'm going to use some of your ideas in my own Bujo. What ruler are you using? I need one!
+Jodi Weiskittel This is the ruler: Clear Flexible Ruler I love it! :)
+Jodi Weiskittel Oops a link would help :) amzn.to/1IiS7PR
OMG!!! It looks amazing! Love your youtube channel 💕
+Beatriz Dourado Thank you Beatriz!
Thank you for the reply boho berry. Bullet journaling has helped me alot with my school life thanks soooo much
+Jake Hayes Sure thing! I'm always happy to help where I can :)
Thanks for a wonderful and inspiring video! Your bullet journal is beautiful!
+Michelle Rydell Thanks, Michelle! :)
What is the Miracle Morning routine? Also, where did you get your clear plastic ruler? Enjoy your videos!
+Abby K Hi Abby! I've written a couple of blog posts about the Miracle Morning, you can find more info here: www.bohoberry.com/morning-routine/
The clear ruler is by Artist's Loft and I got it at Michael's. Here is a similar one on Amazon: amzn.to/1IiS7PR
Thank you!!
Hi! I'm loving your videos! Just have a few questions for you :)
When do you use each type of pen?
Your spread is gorgeous! What kind of colored pens do you use???
+Ashley Berg Thanks Ashley! I use the Staedtler Fineliners linked in the description :)
+Boho Berry Silly me! I'm partially blind apparently- haha! :)
I've been following ur bullet journal videos and i absolutely love it!
+Isabella Azman Thank you!
Lovely video! I'm only beginning to get into bullet journaling and I've found it's so helpful. Where do you find your pen pals from, by the way?
+AmphotericHydroxide Thank you! There are several groups out there on both Facebook and Reddit if you do a quick search for pen pals :)
OMG! Thank you sooo much for this video! I am obsessed :DD
+TheUrbanMermaid Aw, you're very welcome :)
Ur vids r just so inspirational
But the leuchtturm notebook r so expensive
I can't afford it ~~~
I found out the Collins is much cheaper
Is there any kind of notebook u recommend that is suitable for bullet journaling ?
You can Bullet Journal in ANY notebook!
Yours are my absolute favourite bullet journal videos! I'm super inspired to get back to my own journal now!!
One request, would you please please do a video about the fonts you use and how you decorate? I just think they're so unique to look at!!!
Thank you!!
+Kuhlayre Thanks so much! I'll definitely be doing a handwriting/font video very very soon :)
i am sooo insipired by your video!! Will be ordering a notebook to start journaling.
+ladyloulou10 Always happy to inspire :) Thanks so much!
Your videos make me want to try a bullet journal. Just scared they won't arrive before the new year
+Liz Grier You can Bullet Journal in any notebook and with any pens... Maybe you could start a "practice" bullet journal in a cheap notebook until your "fancy" one arrives :)
Just discovered you channel. I'm amazed! Immidiately subscribing and I'm excited for more of your videos! :)
+Coraline Aberlove Aw, thanks Coraline!
Your set up is really nice and about the blank page in the front - what do you think about a birthday list? :)
+Madeleine S. Not a bad idea! Thanks for the suggestion :)
Omg you're so talented. All your typography looks amazing!
+A Barreda Thank you!
This was an awesome video! I borrowed so many of your ideas! Thanks!
+Yar from The Spanish Classroom You're very welcome :)
Just found your channel! Been binge watching lol. Seen the pen pal tracker......are you looking for new pen pals?
+Amanda A Thanks Amanda! Not at the moment... I think I have just the right amount without feeling overwhelmed. Thanks for reaching out though! :)
