“Paralyzed Potential” is self sabotage. Even on a personal aspect. So many of us are beautiful, smart, God driven individuals but we’re afraid to leave others behind who don’t align with us. It’s important to seek more in community as well. Go & align yourself with people who are like minded. Gotta get out there & network, have lunch, go to church, go out with out with some new people. 2023 is the year of abundance in all aspects of life.

I can relate to failing. I’ve aimlessly held jobs that don’t sit right with me, and I deal with unpleasant behaviors directed at me almost daily at work. I’ve loved creating art for as long as I can remember, and I make beautiful artwork’s and I have plenty of them where I’m like… no I messed up here or I started fixating on details too soon, so the proportions are wrong. I barely put anything on Etsy, but it’s there. No one buys it, but I fight the fears sometimes. My client commissioned someone to help make a graphic then put it on tee’s and was able to sell it to those they know. I don’t know how I feel about that… my client made money from someone else’s work. However, I see my paralyzed client selling things here and there on the side of their occupation while I work as a caregiver making chump change. I’ve viewed my job as a temporary purpose from the beginning; I can still see the beauty in what I do, and there’s some good days. I’ve been trying to work on limiting mindsets and issues that result from my upbringing because I do feel like I’m the one who’s stopping myself. My bf tells me to sell my art because it’s my passion yet I’ve heard that people who turn hobbies into a career might loose interest in it. I won’t know if that applies to me unless I try more

This is two days late but so glad I heard it. I can literally say I’ve failed and finally conquered what I was after. But to Pastor Tim you preached for Pastor Michael Todd on July 24,2022 on Lazarus. The next day my daughter who watches Transformation church called me, she asked if I had heard of you and I said yes, I’ve watched a few of your sermons, she said well he called your name. I asked her are you sure, she said yes I’ll send you the clip. She sent the exact clip and said to me, it doesn’t make sense to me but here it is. I listen to the clip then went back and listened to the entire sermon. At the end of the sermon you called two names… you said there is a Tawanna and a Tawanda two names very similar but different. You said this kept you up and you had to say this… the Lord said come out. Paraphrasing you said he wants you back to himself. He wants you to come out he has a purpose and a plan for your whole life. That night I told her, it wouldn’t make sense to you, it was for me! It made perfect sense to me, the titles alone ( He can get me out of here) was enough for me.
For 10 months I had been praying asking God when it was time for me to quit my full time contract job and go full time in my private practice for counseling. Well long story short, I placed my resignation that next day July 25th my last day was on Sept 9,2022. I had to give a 45 day notice.
It was hard for others to understand why I was leaving off of a world I heard. I was even told you will see how it is and you will be back.
I did exactly as you mentioned on this sermon. I stepped out and started a business. I launched my full time practice on the 12th of September. Does it feel daunting? Yes, do I have my good days and bad days yes, but I am leaning on his word and promises.
Asking for continued prayers as I’m seeking a spot for an office.
As always. Great word! Praise and thanks be unto God as he will always cause us to triumph!

God didn't give me anything mediocre. He gives the best gift. The more I write, the better I get. Don't give up y'all. Don't quit on yourself. Gifts are not birth in its mature state, even though they are so great. We have to grow into them. Our character and personality needs to match up. God wants to get resilience out of us. This is directly to me. I just started to realize the enemy was lying that God wanted me to wait to share my full testimony and other prophetic words. I felt I needed to be a more elevated version of myself so that people can see God on and in me more.. I've only been saved for a year and I'm still wearing the clothes from before I got saved. I'm not in my word daily and stop going to church every Sunday. So religion has me feeling unqualified to share the Gospel to a large group. So my sizzle, sizzled out. I even got asked to do a interview about some of my story and I declined. I've been feeling lately that I'm tripping and may be a little scared to look crazy like a fool. Especially since ex's and their new wife's and family I cut off are watching me. To them I seem crazy talking about God because they know the old me and to the believers my style, make-up and confidence distract them from the word. While writing this I just had a thought to start making videos with a towel on my head and a robe on in bed then. Idk but I'm not afraid to fail. You know last night I was walking around my house with a hood on my head. I was exhausted from not sleeping well, not eating a healthy meal like I was supposed to, and wanting to just relax. I listened to my sister friend’s online conference then felt the urge to share about my week online but “I didn’t do it”. So I understand where you’re coming from. I totally do.

@@bigmommie120We gotta be obedient. God hit me with this scripture. It's time. Remember who qualifies us.
James 4:17, NASB: So for one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, for him it is sin. James 4:17, NLT: Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.

Thank you for this. I had been diagnosed with ADD as a child and never grew out of some of the symptoms. I have tried multiple things and failed. Thought it was part of the ADD and it might be but I have not given up on trying and doing. I’ll stop saying trying cuz I was doing it, whatever it was. I failed either because I ran out of money or didn’t allow myself the time due to laziness after working a job. Many ideas come to mind and they are great. The on going execution of things and consistency hasn’t been thoroughly developed yet. I know something will stick, I will be committed and develop the consistency to establish it. There’s so much I want to do though and distractions have become villains in my life. I loved this podcast. Thank you so much. 👏🏾❤️

I wouldn’t call it a failure either. I’m learning that all the things that you have in you and try helps out the calling. Your comedy and rapping skills along with others help with your podcast. I just started a daycare and my managerial, bookkeeping and photography has helped with my business. I definitely understand 100 percent. I was mad that I did each thing and it didn’t take off. But God put childcare providing in me and I was sooo scared because I had what I thought was my dream job. Needless to say I was obedient and my kids are napping as I type😊

As I listened to your EP, I thought about all the times I failed at things that taught me sooo much! Like literally if it wasn't for them failures I wouldn't be who I am today 🙌🏾 key thing you said was trying...because you tried you now have knowledge you didn't have before...there's value you in that!!! This was so good! Listening to this as I prepare to host my 1st webinar of the year today, 'Strive To Thrive', totally insightful. I built up an audience by going live in my car in 2020 when I didn't have anywhere to go. Just went live M-F mornings giving motivation and vibing, sharing my business, popping the trunk! Nobody knew what was really going on! With my Podcast that I did 7 episodes for last year, I made my intro to after like the 3rd episode. I edit and all that. It became tasking. But this is proof, I need to keep going. Thank you for the transparency! 💫 #JenLoInspires ✈️🌐

You get a word from The Lord and you go. That's it. Just gonna share a piece of my story and hope it helps someone.
I got burnt out from teaching high school math after 8 years. I got a new position as a testing coordinator. It was pure hell. I ended up doing so much work alone at that school, I hated getting up every day. I was thankful for life, but I hated going to that place. I felt isolated, mistreated and disrespected daily. On the side, I was working my craft business and tutoring business. Everyday God was telling me, if you can do this work for someone else alone, you can grow your business alone. I pushed through the school year and left. Didn’t look back. Fast forward to today… Despite the days of doubt that still tend to come up, I am now running my two businesses full time. Everything isn’t perfect and pretty, but I see things growing and moving. I’ve done decorations and projects for the schools I taught, they pay my price, and they keep coming back. I work way less hours, I see my family more, I look better, I feel better. This month, I made more than I would’ve made teaching and I’m gonna do it again next month.
It’s super hard to step out on faith, but if God says go, GO! When I get in a doubtful space, I find videos like this for a boost and think about how much I’ve grown and how I’ll continue to grow. People will look at you crazy, but as long as God has your back, you will be just fine. ❤

Thank you so much for sharing your testimony of faith and work! I appreciate this and it really is encouraging. Because the difficulty is there, the challenge is there, but above all that so is the FAVOR OF GOD! And and by your obedience to Him, you were successful. I pray you continue to grow and that your business prospers even more as you make a difference with your gifts. God bless you 🙏🏾🤍
