Thanks for explaining the red dirt, I was thinking what a waste to do all of that wonderful work for the bottom to be a rust bucket. That 88 is a masterpiece , I know it will be difficult to part ways with it. Excellent content.
You know a ton of us latinos looking at this video ....I had the 1986 civic si hatchback 2.0 5 speed manual wish I still had it😢...you should hunt for one of them and restore...those Hondas are like legos to me love them...HONDA LIFE
CRXseth brother brother brother you are definitely correct on the fact that the white in color bulbs do have an effect on any other color lenses besides clear ones. I can't stand that and when I swapped to LEDs for my first time I learned the hard way. But it does make a huge difference for bulb colors when they match with their same color lamp lenses it makes them that much more rich and vibrant. Since I noticed it the first time I've never gone back to anything else besides the color bulbs matched up in the same lense color
The light upgrade makes the car look factory fresh! Totally brings it up to date. And glad you done the side lights and repeaters too. Too often you just see the main beams upgraded and the side lights forgotten about!
11:21 such a great idea especially for working without a lift! Super hard to swing a hammer underneath to remove this on jackstands. What adapter is on the end of that breaker bar holding the punch?
I love the LED bulbs, but at night they give me such a glare from on coming traffic I can't see a thing in front of me, and likewise when installed I just see a white patch on the road in front of me.
How would you describe the oem hinge for cargo cover. To me it was nothing but the fabric itself which isn't much of a hinge. I'm glad you were able to find a shift linkage boot I thought that would be difficult.
Have you had any issues with these lights since you’ve had them? Any hyper-flashing? Do they have built in resistors to prevent that? Have you done your interior as well without issue?
I sold the car, so I’m not 100% sure of long term issues, but I did notice some hyper flashes only occasionally. I swapped back in the regular blinker bulbs.
hello seth. great build. i have the jdm head lights and im lookind for led h4h/702k bulb. im having a hard time finding them in the auxbeam site. would you have a part number?
Thanks for the information I went to the website and I did find the hinge and I know you have nothing to do with this but the shipping price was ridiculous. It was like $40 so I don’t know if I wanna buy it that bad but I do want it but I’m not ready to pay $40 for shipping. Lol but it’s not funny
As usual great work. Wondering what price you put on this car? I watch other car channels who auction theirs cars ... . 10,000 tickets at $5= 50000. More money for following builds, still a cheap car for the winner
The ticket scheme is time consuming, on the line of actually illegal and I do t want to mess with the hassle of that type of sale. I’ll accept the highest offer once the car is available.
I wish mine wasn’t damaged in shipping I had to use screws to keep them together. The shipper basically folded the box and caused a crimp right in the middle.
LED bulbs behind a colored lens should match the color of the lens for max output. With a white LED, the color lens filters out part of the visible light spectrum and won’t appear as bright as if the LED matches the lens color.
@@CrMo4130 yeah I did an experiment years ago with identical LED bulbs except one white and one red in my tail/brake lights. The red bulb was noticeably brighter.
By any chance would you be interested in helping me restore my 1991 Honda prelude with 4ws? I would love to put an H22 engine with power steering, air conditioning, and cruise control. I know funrdye does these type swaps; but he doesn’t do these types of restoration. Much much respect for time and dedication.
I like the repair for the cargo cover❤..how can I get your email? I have crx parts and I would like you to see my car. Im a big fan of you.. blessings!
I have no experience with JDM headlights, so I cannot say. Just get the correct bulb type that the JDM headlights use and it should work. I’ve heard JDM lights use an odd bulb, so I’m not sure.
Such a great restoration ….. been following since the beginning! Amazing results
The LEDs totally transformed it to 2023 👍
If you're ocd, the rear cover trim piece can be flocked too to better match the cover😅
Love seeing builds like this. When I was younger I would sit in class reading the Noppi catalog dreaming about a redtop vtec in my CRX......
Really enjoyed the led upgrades. Looks more modern instead of dim.
man, you really done a good job on this CRX, every single detail you made is a huge different, loved your channel! 超素晴らしい超良い超美しい
very satisfying to watch this amazing restoration
I have loved watching the evolution of this restoration, mate. Gosh, I would love to get that car across to Australia!
Thanks for explaining the red dirt, I was thinking what a waste to do all of that wonderful work for the bottom to be a rust bucket. That 88 is a masterpiece , I know it will be difficult to part ways with it. Excellent content.
Thanks 👍
There is a reason you are my favorite channel!
Man, now i want a crx
Your channel is one of the most underrated i ever saw 😮. Great Working you are doing 🫡 Im in love with your cars ❤
Glad you enjoy it!
Yes more motivation to help me build my car. Keep them CRX vids coming man
The led looking good seth. ✌🏻🇳🇱
Wish I knew about your cargo hinge when I had my prior CRXs. Great job, I’ll be kinda sad seeing this go once you sell it.
wow what a rebuild! super inspiring.
Cant wait for the final compilation video!
Already started on it! It’s going to take a while! Lots of footage!
Good to know Auxbeam didn't cause hyper flash on the bumper lights. I'm going to have to get a set.
cant see the cutoff on LED headlight quite well since it was so blown out. hope it does have decent cutoff and not blinding the opposite drivers
Gahhhh damn they both look great in the garage!
awesome job! i feel like building an exact replica in 1/24 scale

So awesome. I have watched these videos over and over so nice. My crx is a hack job of a car compared to this.

Your the man Seth.
I think there's something to be said about the nostalgia/originality of the halogen bulbs, but for practicality LED is definitely the way to go
Amazing!!!! Much respect 🙏 🫡
Yeessss!! Cargo cover repair🙏🙏
11:21 such a great idea especially for working without a lift! Super hard to swing a hammer underneath to remove this on jackstands. What adapter is on the end of that breaker bar holding the punch?
It’s just a socket that fits over the punch.
I love the LED bulbs, but at night they give me such a glare from on coming traffic I can't see a thing in front of me, and likewise when installed I just see a white patch on the road in front of me.
Yeah the upgrade light bulbs are much better.
How would you describe the oem hinge for cargo cover. To me it was nothing but the fabric itself which isn't much of a hinge. I'm glad you were able to find a shift linkage boot I thought that would be difficult.
Yeah, it’s just the fabric itself that holds the two pieces together. Over time it wears out and tears.

Im more of a Projector/HID guy myself but those don't look half bad
Once you go LED you won't go back, cheaper last longer less issues and easier to install
@@powerking25 to be 100% honest both LED and Projector HID lights look and preform horribly. I’ve had both and Projector/HID are better for me.
The CRX is non CANBUS, correct? Looks amazing.

hello seth. great build. i have the jdm head lights and im lookind for led h4h/702k bulb. im having a hard time finding them in the auxbeam site. would you have a part number?
I do not. H4H are not easy to find.
Can you tell me how and where I can purchase the living hinge to repair the rear cargo piece for the CRX ?
I stopped selling them but this link offers them:
www.outwater.com/103-571-PARENT?quantity=1&color=95&cut-for-shipping=4

@@roymac8 For $50-60, you get three hinges. I was selling one for $40/each.
Where did you get that piece for the cargo cover?

Wish they came in h4h headlight size 😫
great video like it
Does anybody know what alternative to those LEDs i can find in the EU ? Thanks a lot
un crack!!!!!!!!!
i prefer the look of original bulbs so I didn’t do LED on my 95 Civic coupe.
Random, but does anybody know if these LED's will work for the JDM EF8 SiR?

Fair enough, whoever buys it is one lucky person for sure. Can't wait to see what's next, if only I still had all my old civics and crxs 😢😢
Those single bulb lights look so nice. Why did the states get shagged so hard with this car? Lol
Hi Seth, what size are those OEM wheels?
14x5”
I have a BNIB cargo cover and rear fold down cover and storage box... whats that stuff worth nowadays ?
Just depends on who is buying to be honest. Couple hundred bucks each, at least, if in good shape.
@@crxseth They are new in box.

I hate to hear that. I guess I’m going to have to revisit my shipping packaging again. :(
LOOKS WAY more period correct with the original headlight globe's.
Easy to swap back if the new owner chooses. :)
How did the H4 fit a H4H housing? Please help
The European single bulb headlights use H4 bulbs.
H4H is japan only. There will only fit a H4H bulb.
Change the interior, sir, so it's beautiful, look like it's fully restored

Once this CRX is picked up, I’ll be buying some coilovers and preparing to paint some parts on the ITR.

Yup! Came here to say this. Amber lenses should have amber bulbs.

That’s not an upgrade for oncoming traffic
The beam pattern wasn’t terrible compared to some others I’ve seen. The cutoff was pretty decent.
Where can I get the plastic hinge for my cargo cover??
