Great job. The only tip I would have is on your corner trim. They make corner brackets that you use to nail your 90 degree corners together before hanging them in the structure. These have long tabs that stick out that you then use to place your nails in to secure the corner trim by blind nailing into the tabs with no surface nailing necessary. There is nothing wrong with face nailing though. You did a great job. Everything looks great!

Huh. TIL. Good tip on the brackets. If I ever build another one, I’ll use those instead. Thanks!

I tried searching for these corner brackets and couldn't find them, any help?

It looks like you used roof drip edge for your window, should have been z flashing. Also you have no flashing on the side of the window. Only part of window that shouldn't be flashed with tape or metal is the bottom. An when building your bird box make them smaller the. Soffit you plan to use. 16 inch soffit, make the box frame work 15.75 inch which will eliminate those little gaps between soffit and facia boards

Man - getting all the trim installed around the windows and vents was a pain in the neck! I'm happy with how it all turned out though - do you have any tips or tricks for how I could have made this easier on myself?

Where did you find the soffit with the built in vents? I can’t seem to source it a local Lowe’s.

Hi Jim - If you google "lumber supply" in your area somewhere should pop up that will likely have it in stock or be able to tell you where to get it. In my area there is a place called BMC West that stocks it. Here is the manufacturer website where you may be able to look up where to buy near you as well: lpcorp.com/products/exterior/siding-trim/products/soffit
      Good luck!

What material did you use for Trim? Doesn't look like timber - more like some kind of MDF with a finished side and edges?

It’s a product from LP just like the siding I installed on this shed. It’s a composite material that has held up very well so far. Thanks for watching!

@@AmplifyDIY Hmm - it looks like we don't have anything like it in the UK which is a shame as it looks like a great material. Shame - never mind.
Your series is excellent - not just a great project but REALLY well narrated!
