+Rakshael I found the best strat for me, was to time my dashes and dash through him. Attack, Attack, Sprint forward through him, sprint again. he would go behind me, turn around and do his little ball firing thing, and then id repeat. about 50% or so you just add an extra dash away from him, when he adds his extra spin. I fought with him for hours before I figured that out, and then I did it in my first couple tries using that strat.
Indeed! Perfect strategy. Those little pockets between slash attacks were just long enough for two slashes and a shotgun shell. Felt so good, too. That boss was the only one that actually gave me trouble, felt like a real trial to overcome him.
+isaiah1100ab Embrace the pain my little padawan...Don't fight it... It get's easier with the upgrades. The game is made so that if you go east it's easier. There's a subtle hint to go east first, there's a dog on the main hub that barks at you and takes you east. One of many little gameplay details of this amazing game
Very reminiscent of the Light World dungeon theme from A Link to the Past. Seems fitting that there would be a musical homage to it in this game, seeing as it takes a fair bit of combat and artistic inspiration from there too. ruclips.net/video/bSg0skswqM0/видео.html
I didnt understand why so many people went west first. Theres a dog that runs east after you reach the center, I thought that was a pretty obvious cue to go east first :(
I don't know why I went West first, but I did. Still, it's great that a game allows you to stumble into one of the harder areas first, rather than drag you along a set quest chain right from the start.
15:43 can someone pls tell me which ost is this? In cannot found it and i love it so much... i would like to listen to this while my death comes... i imagine my self walking up in that forest and see again to all my dead cats... i miss them so fkn much....
Ah, yes, the land of weeb raccoons lead by their nefarious Dark Souls boss they call their king. But in all seriousness I love this game and all of the atmosphere it builds from the music and interactions. It's phenominal and way more people should know about this total gem of a game.
God, I love this zone. I don't know, it feels like this one is more about exploring than anything.
Perfect OST. Perfect GAME.
Loved making the boss smash his own adds before summoning them. Hah! Felt quite clever using that to my advantage.
+Rakshael I had no idea you can do this. Definitely doing it for my Alt Drifter run.
+Rakshael I had to do that. If he even spawned one i usually died soon after. I was real bad though but I got him after a while.
I went West first so he was my first boss and i had no upgrades...took me an hour or two but was fun

@12:09
Best Part.
*turns Volume over 9000!*
@14:25
Damn.
Even... even better! :')
Such a wonderful game.
preboss sound is beautiful
The beginning of the boss theme is so ear-rapey.
I love it. :')
Honestly, I'm surprised you still have ears. XD
Yeah I loved the music at this specific time as well; definitely my favorite of the entire game.
Boss caused more deaths than the others combined. Still felt fair, although difficult. The fun of a well-designed challenge is so rare nowadays!
+Rakshael He was rough but awesome. Loved that he was spoiling to fight.
+Rakshael i agree!
you got that right.
so far my favorite music in game, even though this is one of the more frustrating areas. coolest looking area is EAST.
The soundtrack reminds me a bit about the start's of Miyazaki movies.
Der Soundtrack zu meinem Let's Play. Sehr geil. Loving it. Nice sound. Nice Video. Go on rocking.
Крайне недооцененная игра, один из лучших лоуфай эмбиент саунтреков!!
Favorite track.
I hated this level.... It looks great but. GOD! That boss made me want to pull my hair out.
+isaiah1100ab
He was the last of the three I fought. The shotgun plus Slash Dash made him pretty easy.

+thegrimreaper7 I'm at the ens of the game now. I've been getting all collectables and achievements before beating the game. now that boss is no prob.
+isaiah1100ab end*
+Steven Day hell yeah man, I did the same thing
12:00 is my favorite part. Reminds me of Welcome to the Machine
Glad I'm not the only one, haha, couldn't help but notice it
I stayed soo much on this are now this theme give me headaches
31000th view ^^
Also this is by far my favorite area
I honestly thought the Hanged Man (the boss. He's called that in the trading cards) was the pink guy we see throughout the game.
Very reminiscent of the Light World dungeon theme from A Link to the Past.

This track sounds like boards of Canada
someone finally says it.
Boss at 14:24.
I fuckin hated that guy, probs wouldn't have been that hard if I didn't do west first.
+baconrug I'm at him last. It's still frustrating.

I went West first because the game allowed me to. Its as simple as that

the last few minutes of the track 'Stasis awakening"
Thx mate, i really appreciate it
12:00 they did not need to go this hard

day9 made me do it
14:25 The West Boss' theme sounds like a track from Adventure Time XD
Do you remember which track? Could you please link it?
Is this track on the OST for the game? I have been listening to it and I can't find the beginning of West.
Isn't it The Midnight Wood?
