❗NERFS❗Fury now no longer provides rending to ranged weapons. (Yes, this was a bug but it actually balanced the class and made the gameplay more interesting.) There was no reason to remove it (it was balanced) and this action took away power from Zealots using ranged weapons without providing anything back as replacement. This has effectively made gun-Zealot builds substantially worse, reduced Zealot build variety and made all Zealot builds play exactly the same. So now we have less builds, less balance, less complexity and less fun in the game. Good job Fatshark! 👏🤡 Additionally, Columnus 5 is slightly worse now. 🔸The build is still usable if you want to try it out. You probably need to go for chain-weapons now to have damage against Crushers though...
Thanks. I'm focusing on guides right now because very few people seem interested in educational walkthroughs. I have a few interesting ones saved though and I hope I can use them...
@@WaltzingBear You should do what interests you and the views will come! Learn't a few spots where you could drop off to kite enemies etc in that video. No one really covers maps ( places to go / avoid etc) and end mission tips . Given there are only a few maps it would be quite useful.
@@D6Evolution Hmm.. Interesting. I'm working on another build guide right now, but let me think about it. It should take a lot less time to produce anyways...
The thing I like about throwing knives is that it cancels switching animations when switching to boltor/flamethrower. Essentially you can make a Walmart plasma vet build with zealot.
Very nice to hear the thought process behind each choice. I have been looking for a build like this to add variety to my zealot. Learned a few new tricks from the playthrough too.
Oh, thanks. ♥I think I've already done all the research on that but I won't stop you 😄. Blade with Uncanny' is probably best overall. The meme power has some potential though. Guns with 40% backstab damage actually double Knives' damage BTW, but it's not that useful to work with because you want to aim at headshots anyways... Good luck with research! 👨🔬
@@WaltzingBear Hmm, I only get the 40% increase with the backstab damage🤔but yea, not that useful imo too. After brief testing the kantrael shotgun was a pleasant surprise. Scattershot and man-stopper are actually very nice since throwing a knife does not spend the crit stacks :D you can spam all of your knives with the +60% crit chance from scattershot and with man-stopper the knives go through at least 5-6 enemies, maybe even more (not carapace though). Worked suprisingly well for rager/shotgunner packs etc. when they are not yet at proper shotgun range.
@@Terentios Interesting... But then you're stuck with the shotgun 😄 Seems cool although situational. If you can get close to 100% crit chance it's nice. I didn't like the other crit chance increases for the knives because you have so few of them to use and it only matters for new breakpoints.
@@WaltzingBear True that shotty is not always the most optimal choice 😅but i think it's much better than the general opinion seems to be. I really like the utility side of them and it's almost as quick as the revolver to draw n shoot (and as a life-long Doom fan shotguns just scratch that certain itch 😆also melting bulwarks through their shields is always fun). My biggest and almost only complaint about kantrael and shotguns in general is the small ammo reserve. All shotguns should have at least the same reserve as the slug one....😡 Anyway, with scattershot 4+blazing piety+ 5% crit chance weapon perk you get 90% crit chance which makes kantrael with man-stopper quite a monster against hordes and crit knives kill every specialist (except mutie) and dreg rager with 1 torso hit and 2 shots all but ogryns and maulers. Of course with knives headshots are always recommended but this makes occasional body shots a little bit more forgiving.
@@Terentios hmm. Maybe I'll try that myself for the memes... Problem with shotgun is that it's not really a shotgun. Fire shotgun is not bad if you were playing solo but with a group it's meh. The knockdown makes it worse for damage. I hope they fix the shotguns at some point...
Thank you so much. You would probably need a melee weapon to deal with Crushers after the nerfs. Not sure exactly what would be best. I am testing some builds right now and we'll see if the game has enough new interesting stuff for a video...
@@WaltzingBear I understand but have to give up the sweet sweet count strike is pain in the ass,but I heard dueling sword is available for this class now
@@piesugerover9243 Yeah, I didn't have time to test the dueling sword yet but it's on the list. Either that or a brittleness weapon that allows you to rend with your gun. A rending combat blade with throwing knives might also solve the issue. I had a parry-tank build with the sword, and the parry sword got a buff, so I'll have to test it out and see if it can get a new video...
Like I said, the attack is blocked irrelevant of the damage. You just get staggered for a sec out of stam. I recommend dodging it to avoid being locked in place with this build as we don't build block efficiency.
Pretty good build, I'll try it. I always appreciate the devils claw. But the lack of teamwork you show by leaving your team behind, and then blaming them when you could've simply been present, is pretty disappointing.
At what point? I always appreciate feedback. I would never flame players in-game and I try to avoid toxicity. If a teammate needs help I'll always try to go back, but I am going for optimal play. Sometimes the mission can take 45 minutes if no one is frontlining and dictating the pace of the game.
I went through the video trying to find at which point I left the team behind. I'm still not sure at which point. Also understand that I have to make these playthroughs entertaining to watch. That's why I go super aggressive and don't pick up loot. This is not the exact way I'd normally play. Cheers!

What a smart and skillful gameplay.
And explanations are top notch.

Does the parry block all damage from crushers or do you need full stamina
