This last trip I caught my limit but the fish were just average 2 to 4 lbs. On some recent trips within the last 6 months, I caught a 7.5 lb. and a 8.2 lb. rainbow. I have always managed to get my limit except for maybe 1 trip but the sizes will vary though. I was told he would have some bigger fish this coming spring.
Good stuff. I actually saw y'all up there on one of my trips. I've been going monthly since 1992. Ive Never failed to limit out. Some days harder than others of course but certainly one of my favorite places. Good luck to u in the future and I do hope to be puts more Tigers and Brooks in this year. Had 2 citations Brook back in December but haven't seen a Tiger in 2 years. Take care
Definitely one my favorite places as well. I grew up not far from there and have been fishing it since 1980. Hoping there will be more brooks, brown and tigers as well in the future. Are they actually putting fish in now, or is it still pitiful? Last year was the worst trip in 15 years. Only a handful in the Creek. It was bad.
