    Simple green, keeping things SIMPLE.
    I have watched a ton of radiator cleaning/refill videos, everyone has their own opinion on how you should do it. It’s nice to see that these guys are keeping it real.

    Simple green is my go to cleaner. I like that it gets the job done without all the toxic odors. A big plus is that it doesn't make my daughter or my dog sick to be around it.

    You should also turn on the heater.

      why?
      ps, there are solenoids that control the coolant through the core so it makes sense setting the highest temperature to flush the core

      Surprised the channel hasn’t replied to you yet. Simple Green is a safe nontoxic cleaning agent that is surprisingly effective for how easy it is to work with. I can’t answer if you can get it outside of North America.

    This thing will stay in the car diluted with distilled water. Is this thing safe for the car in the long run? How will it behave around cleaner? The video is sketchy. Misses many important part to the process.

    So I am using the cleaner with distilled water to clean but regular tap water to flush and when I fill my radiator with coolant I don't have to purge the air out of my system to prevent air pockets that can lead to over heating?

    • @X_Is_Groggy
      @X_Is_Groggy 2 года назад +5

      Keep using distilled water, you don't want to use tap water because there are minerals in tap water but distilled is pure H2O

    Is it necessary to replace the radiator cap?

    • @sleeks9939
      @sleeks9939 2 года назад

      Yes and no but it’s cheap and is better to change it from time to time

    • @rayjones201

      In this instance , it is meant to mean “put the cap back on”

    Don't do all that. Just dump all old radiator fluid. Then put green coolant In the radiator. Fill up the puke tank then burp engine and done. Don't replace parts that are fine.

      Also they are just going to ignore the over flow tank existing
      Opening the drain cock too far? That's not thing
      Taking the cap of the radiator is a thing you need to do or it'll never drain
