It was like being on the Titanic except you're still afloat. 😂

Stayed on it in 2019. Took the Ghost Tour and did the Queen's Sunday Brunch. The room wasn't that great but the Brunch and the restaurant we ate in were exceptional.

Queen Mary is an ocean liner, not a cruise ship.

The Queen Mary certainly is a beauty. To my knowledge she remains as the oldest preserved 'Golden-Age' Ocean Liner (Not a Cruise Liner I'm afraid) afloat. She held the blue-riband for fastest Atlantic crossing from 1936-1952 until the S.S United States took it from her at an astonishing 35.59 knots (65.91 km/h) in 1952. The S.S United States still floats to this day and is laid up in Philadelphia where there are many attempts to save her, she is currently undergoing an eviction from the pier from which she has sat over the past twenty years; she may either be saved or sunk as a coral reef. The S.S United States still holds the blue-riband to this day for fastest Atlantic crossing. I highly recommend you check out the S.S United States!
P.S. - I also might mention a fun fact! The Queen Mary was actually already launched and under the fitting-out process when the R.M.S Olympic (Sister ship of the RMS Titanic) was pulled from service for the final time; having her maiden voyage during the time the R.M.S Olympic began the scrapping process. U.S.S Texas and R.M.S Olympic both served in World War One and may have crossed paths.

Man, you picked a heck of a time to come out to Long Beach! LOL Judging by the entertainment in the Observation Bar, it looks like you were aboard last Tuesday night... a good night to be aboard. My channel is dedicated to the history, preservation and current updates of the QUEEN MARY as well as other ocean liners, cruise ships, and other vessels, past, present and future. Hopefully, sometime you will be able to visit again and possibly get some good drone footage of the Queen! 🙂 Your channel is fantastic! Thank you! 🙂

So, I'm curious -- what were you doing on the oil tanker? Are you a local pilot?

Your drone work is excellent. Your hand held camera work sucks. Please learn how to properly pan. It's a slow swing. Not a race to see how fast you can get around. The Queen Mary is nothing like the Titanic. She is very nice but Titanic was outstanding in all ways for her era. You didn't mention the Russian submarine moored next to The Queen. That is a tour worth taking too.🙂🙂
