There are sports or adventure activities, art museums, iconic architecture, and some of the freshest seafood restaurants in the country - not to mention those fantastic Pacific sunsets! Nature lovers looking for things to do in Long Beach, CA, will be enamored with the El Dorado East Regional Park. It’s just a fifteen-minute drive from the city. It has everything from nature and bike trails packed with local flora and fauna to archery ranges and a skate park. You’ll also need to bookmark a trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific, an aquatic educational center that cares for an incredible 11,000 animals and 500 different species: from sharks and jellyfish to sea lions and penguins.
