Of all the YEARS I’ve “sailed” aboard the Queen Mary, I’ve never done a Sunday brunch and never realized the quality of SEAFOOD especially and the the variety of quality food options. So right! Those pre-cracked crab legs. All you need. That and the sushi. Steamed buns. Eggs Benedict.
It’s like if a vintage ocean liner tried to keep up with modern cruise ship standards but sympathetically to the original layout and charm.
Speaking of charm, you two are day-makers. Love your camaraderie. And appreciate the wisdom on what to be weary of. Crab all day remains #1. Called it!
Food looked absolutely amazing but I couldn't stand the music being so loud.
Yes! If you must raise your voice to speak to your table mates, it is TOO DAMN LOUD.

I would pay to have this Sunday brunch. I like the whole ambiance, the food, music, the tables being a good ways apart from each other and more. And you get to have the meal on the Queen Mary. Why not? Thanks for sharing. ❤
Love this video, but cursing at myself for watching this on Ash Wednesday when as a Catholic I am supposed to be observing a day of fast and abstinence! 😉 The food looks great, love the beautiful music, and there is no better atmosphere in LA than being on board at the Queen Mary. Wonderful to see the ship in good shape once again!

My husband and I got to do this on Christmas Eve. I'd say the price is worth it, as it also helps the upkeep of that beautiful salon. I love the Queen Mary so much. I'm so happy she's thriving again, as she should. Really excellent update from you guys!!

Love the video, you two!…but I guess I am the only one who doesn’t think this buffet looks as “Royal” as it could/should for the price. They’re probably still finding their swing, coming back from Covid. Queen Mary is a treasure.
It's worth it for the whole package. Admission on the ship, the buffet, parking..... that adds up.

Very elegant and a huge selection the only thing is I think they should have labeled everything especially the desserts just in case someone is allergic to an ingredient.

I loved seeing the brunch offered here. And thanks for the sound bit of at the end with a nice sampling of interesting sites aboard the ship.
Been to Long Beach near the Queen Mary many times and love the area. The closest to the ship is probably along the walking trails seeing it from a distance. Always wonder what was around the area. Now I want to take the family there and check out the brunch.

impress the date by booking Brunch and/or getting a room onboard
After Bruch can tour the Queen Mary, watch the Sunset and/or go Shopping at the Pike
or walk around DTLB, there's lot of Restaurants and Live Band and the ambiance of the surrounding
$98 is Cheap for all that they've going on there

We used to just think of the Queen Mary as a haunted boat with tours or a visit at Halloween…years later there were parties held there but glad they’re doing fancier events now!

Looks delicious. You can tell it's good quality. Hopefully, my husband and I will get to try it someday. I love a buffet. I would choose this over a steakhouse any day.

I live in Long Beach, and hadn't heard that the Sunday Brunch had returned since the initial refit and refurbishment was completed. The layout has changed from before, and there's now a live singer versus the harp player before.
You both do a great job with your vlogs. I love your shorter length haircut Lisa. Keep up the great work.

All of it looks delicious. Never knew about this. And the setting and ambiance is better than any buffet I've been to in Vegas. Never had live music at a buffet. It takes up the experience up a notch. I will definitely check it out. Well done.
Not at bad price considering it includes parking and admission ticket for the QM. It's $10 for admission and $25 for the parking. So the brunch is around $65.
By comparison, the brunch buffet at the Wynn is $55 and you don't get live music or the beautiful art deco setting of the QM. And, at the Wynn, you'll probably have to wait in line for at least 30 minutes.

Ah, you brought back some memories when I went there back in the '90s. The selections looked great. I thought that turkey looked so juicy when it was cut into. Disappointed in their Asian section, but the Mexican and Dessert stations looked pretty good. Thanks for the review. I would say the food selections were extensive; however, the ambiance is not as elegant as it once was. Harpist only and huge ice sculptures with more attention paid to how food stations are presented and how the room was decorated was how I remember it used to look and feel. But it was nice to see it again. Back in the day, I think the Brunch cost less than $50. Yeah, I'm old. Have a great week and Valentine's Day!

Ice sculptures are kind of passé now, but having a harpist sounds cool.

I would have loaded up on those brussels sprouts! I love maple glazed roasted brussels sprouts! At home I always top mine with toasted pumpkin seeds. Ooo, the desserts!!

Yes, it is. The original Queen Mary. Sailed from England in the 60s after it was decommissioned and it's been docked in Long Beach ever since.

10am-2pm Sunday.
Looks like a lot of effort goes in to the food and service.

While that band was great, it was IMO too loud for brunch. I wouldn't have liked that much. But overall everything else in the package seems fine. And seems to me that Lisa has a more refined palate than Bill. Doh! Thanks Bill and Lisa! ❤❤
Guys, please be careful about eating stone crab FAR from where it was caught.
The seafood / the meat goes bad SOOO quickly, just an hour or so after it was caught!
Andrew Zimmern told me so in his shows.
This is one classy buffet. Nothing but quality items. Only problem is you cant eat everything you see. Never really knew about this so thanks for the video. I would have to agree with another comment that the singing was a bit too much.
$98 is a little steep if you don't eat a chunk of seafood. Nice variety. What no champagne?

Looks like a great luxury buffet. With all the extras, definitely worth the cost. One suggestion.....next time you showcase a restaurant, sit farther away from the music. I really like live music at. restaurant, but it's frequently too loud.
