Avoiding hard starting by running outboard carb dry , adding fuel shut off to 4hp Hangkai Outboard

I'm sure everyone with an outboard has found it to be a total nightmare to start if its been left with Petrol in it for any length of time. Especially modern day ethanol blends which seem to have made the problem even worse.
In this video I show adding a cheap fuel shut off from aliexpress , great quality metal item and only a couple of pound.
