    The music ruined the value of the video. We all want to hear how loud it is.

    Hard to tell engine sounds with all that music....kill the music and maybe give a verbal comments while you sire testing this unit...Also you did not mention if you need to add gear oil on a new motor?

    Anything in the manual about not running ethanol?

    • @danknorowski2614
      @danknorowski2614 3 года назад

      In my manual said "pure gasoline"? one video stated that gas with ethanol will damage seal?

    • @THX..1138
      @THX..1138 6 месяцев назад

      No engine boat engine or any engine with a carburetor should ever be run on ethanol gas.

    How long have you ran the motor? Is it worth the $

      We have ran this motor about 15 Hours in ponds and rivers on a 13ft aluminum boat. No complaints thus far, except its a little loud and the manual mostly in Chinese. I would say it is worth the money.

      I just bought the LEADALLWAY 4HP 4 STROKE for $479.00 on AMAZON. I'll do a review i got a 12
      Ft. Aluminum john boat. I'm kinda nervous the alluminum engine is gonna be a piece of shit but we will see. Im gonna break her in easy not dry run it and wait 12 hours before running full power. Never just idle. For oil to circulate propeller must be moving is my understanding. Use high octane gas no ethanol. The pistons expand when heated so just turn it on go and shut it off or keep the propeller moving to extend the life.
      Wax the pull cord so no dry rot happens

      I put it on my friend's 12 ft aluminum V hull boat and it handled 3 people pretty well. Not sure if 4 would be too much.

    Junk motor don’t buy dies without the choke

    • @angrynanrides3218
      @angrynanrides3218  6 лет назад +1

      I have never had a problem with the choke. In fact, I was happy I brought this on the Taunton River as a backup because the Johnson crapped out on us. it has been very reliable for me.

      @@bertthibodeaux3746 Hey Bert, would you mind telling me how you adjusted your carb? My motor keeps dying on me after it warms up, and it seems like a carb issue.

      Yes, its a junk motor. I bought one 3 years ago I used it one time and next day , did not crank still don't crank.

      The engine is a clone of a Honda lawn mower engine they are generally very reliable....Are they trouble free?...Well it is a Chinese clone of a Japanese engine🙄
