@@MATechRUclips Haven't you noticed how unresponsive the remote can be, especially on Live TV? And I don't know about you but I still haven't mastered keeping the red arrow pointer still when I click on something.😆
I don’t use live tv, to be honest I mostly use my Apple TV remote as that’s my primary device and only pick this one up when I need to adjust settings.
I believe you can adjust the pointer speed in the settings which should improve accuracy of clicking items on screen.

I just purchased a LG CX my magic remote have a circle with a line threw the mouse, Also sometimes out of nowhere the mouse will appear on the screen while am watching tv not sure why this is happening.
You have your sensitivity too high most likely.
I’d the Pointer comes up you can disable that by clicking any of the direction buttons (up down left right) and then after that it won’t bring the pointer back up till you shake the remote to activate it

I have the thin q 75 inch it says I have built in Alexa and I have to buy a magic remote I did that and I still can’t get Alexa to work 😭🤦🏾♀️
Alexa usually has to be configured in the settings to allow access.
Cx best damn tv around. For gaming its UNTOUCHABLE nothing is close just received the freesync premium update ready for next gen baby...
One thing that always confuses me is people use the term freesync/g-sync when referring to “next gen” gaming but they both relate to pc setups not console gaming 🤷🏽♂️
PC’s don’t really have a next gen do they because they constantly evolve as opposed to consoles that utilise the same hardware for a whole generation.

Well, you obviously like this remote. I HATE IT! The damn pointer thing is just frustrating, it's always popping up and is so awkward! And if I try to mute a commercial I sometimes miss and hit the mic button! OH MY GOSH! Then it's an ordeal to just get back! I want a simple EASY TO USE remote instead. Any suggestions?
What device are you using with it? I use a Apple TV and I only pick-up this remote when I want to change settings otherwise I only use the Apple TV remote which can all functions without the extra clutter of buttons.

Some people like to preserve their tech products, what’s so hard to believe about that? For me it’s the better grip and ergonomics of the case that means I add one to all my remotes.
It’s especially useful if you have multiple devices, like i have 3 Apple TVs and each has a different colour case so they can’t get mixed up.
I have a CX, but no motion control? Why is that?
Motion control on what? May be in a different menu depending on content/input you’re using
Any idea where the "TEXT" button is on this remote? My grandparents just got this TV but don't have internet so rely on BBC Text (Tele text) for news, sports, weather etc. They use to just press red button on any BBC channel but this doesn't work, anyone got any ideas?

I have a new LG Smart TV (Not nano thought) which came with a remote but would like to use my magic wand from a previous LG TV. However it says that it's not supported. Is there a way I can configure it to have full functionality on the new one?
If it’s not supported most likely the most you’ll get is basic controls but couldn’t tell you for sure.
Speak to LG and see what they say

I am minutes away from ordering the 65 inch BX. But there is one thing that concerns me as I read some critical posts in amazon and other reviews:
There seem to be no dedicated fast forward/backward buttons. What I would need is to jump like 10 seconds ahead with one simple click when watching an mp4/avi/mpeg video from my usb drive.
1. Is that possible by using the arrows left and right to the wheel?
2. Does this bring up a menu at the button that will disappear automatically but only after like 5 seconds or so, because that would ruin the experience.
3. What would be the intended way respectively the alternative?
I do not want to to go a submenu and fiddle around with the mouse pointer.
My 8 and 10 year old Samsung TVs provide not only the buttons but this simple feature so I was surprised that this is even an issue. Apart from that this would be the perfect TV for me.
As far as I’m aware the left right arrows will perform these functions albeit I’ve never actually needed this as I only use iptv or RUclips directly on the tv itself, everything else is done through my Apple TV 4K.
Any menus in most internal apps do automatically timeout or you can just click down to make them disappear quicker.
These sorts of things are customisable through the individual apps so you’d need to check to be sure.

I don't like the way the case covers the LG logo. That's the only thing putting me off buying one. And the magic remote's not as good as it looks anyway. The movies button should say Rakuten because that's what it is. Other TV remotes with Rakuten say Rakuten or Rakuten TV on the button. Also on Live TV I've noticed occasionally the remote's quite unresponsive.
When you all make these videos try to go in as quick as possible to the point of what the video is about the question that was asked this guy spent 90% of the video talking about his remote cover who really gives a damn let's be honest we just want our question answered as quick as possible

My head is 🤪 wreaked... My LG Smart remote was controlling my chromecast with google tv np & it was Gr8 because the remote that came with the CCWGTV got wet & now it won't work (tried putting it in rice) so the LG magic remote was MAGIC 😂 But yesterday it just stopped completely controlling the Chromecast. Any help on why this might be the case?
You can add it to control “set-top devices” in the settings and the functionality should return.
is there a fix for the nanocell 86 where the pointer is very stuttery it feels like 30hz and then i tested the lg cx and it feelt like 60hz
Newer tv is always going to give you better performance, I’m not familiar with the nanocell range but I’d imagine it may be a limitation baked in to ensure the “premium” TVs feel more premium.

Most reviews of the tv that don’t have a favourable review of the tv/remote tend to revolve around how people lose the remove on their sofa because the back is so slippery, this is a simple solution to that.

Hey does anyone know how to link the remote to your projector or tv? Cause LG doesn't and it's pathetic. They sent me a new one and I still can't link it.
Do a Google search, also make sure the device you’re attempting to pair the remote to is compatible with that remote.

If that’s the remote then this case doesn’t cover the microphone (located between the power and source buttons at the top) so I don’t see why the case would affect it.
What exactly do you mean when you say only basic functions work? How exactly does this case affect the pointer when it has openings for the ir blaster on top (although I think the pointer works of gyroscope anyhow )?
@@MATechRUclips basic functions are volume up and down, ok button directional buttons , menu buttons, ....it all works, but i can't activate the pointer functions and the voice commands. The tv don't show ant cursor and no indication that respons on the microphone button.
I just test it on another LG froml 2017 and it's all the same. Maybe it's a mallfuntion on the remote. The manual says that if you push the home and return button together, for unpairing, the red led blinks three times, but that don't work. Even if i push them 30sec.

What do I need to do in order to discount the remote form a PS4 so I can use the remote control. Because the dual shock controller will turn on but it won’t work

If so this needs to be done by the settings in home dashboard

@@MATechRUclips it shows that it’s connected to the PS4 through the HDMI selection screen. And when I try to connect the controller it’ll turn on but it won’t connect to the PS4
If you’re talking about what I think you’re talking about then it’s set-top box control, which if you’ve setup then you can also remove through the settings in the same way.
If you’ve done it through the PS4 then once again you should be able to unpair via the same method.
I’ve personally had my remote setup to control my PS4 without any issues.

Some features will but others won’t, your tv would have to support the individual shortcuts assigned on the remotes.

This remote is a bad joke! The OLED TV I got it with was in ballpark of £1.500 and many of the button prints got wiped almost completely off by normal usage. LG cheaped out by printing the symbols instead of going with double shot injection technique. And this sleeve will not do anything to mitigate this issue. Disappointment...
How long did you have your remote? I’ve had mine for over a year and it looks like new, no issues with button smudging.
If you want to protect against that particular issue then people do make full wrap cases but it’ll completely kill the tactile feedback of the buttons and isn’t something I like to use.
@@MATechRUclips TV model is 55C8PLA, built in 03/2019. After 6 months the STB PWR, Recents, Back, Netflix, Amazon were half visible, in a year were completely wiped off. I know by heart all of the buttons but anyone else simply cannot use it. I expect something like that from an entry level TV but I guess it will happen to the latest CX just as well. Planned obsolesence or they simply do not care. And yeah, having a condom on would be detrimental during the night. Thats what she said :)

Think they’ve changed the remote for this years TVs but haven’t seen the remote in person so don’t know if they’re still just printed on like these ones.
With oled TVs you’re basically just paying for the panel, only way they make the price competitive is by cutting corners as they did by going down to 40gbps and listing dts/DTSX support on 2020 onwards TVs.
