RIP Grandma IDA aka Cloris Leachman. 1926-2021 You will be missed.
best worst grandma ever
She was a brilliant actress. She'll be much missed.
Wow I'm surprised she actually lived this long. R.i.P
Loved her work as MawMaw in Raising Hope
How did she die
Now that I'm 41 years old watching this, I can safely tell you that grown men have weirdo daydreams like Hal had about being a war time power walking postman.
I'm a 36 year old woman and I can safely say I have similar fantastical daydreams every day. I mean the truly impressive part is how little time I mentally spend in reality which given I'm a psychiatrist should probably be more concerning but no time for that....there are super powers to "have". With great disassociation comes great responsibility.
@@christinaify 😂
So cute^^
Adults dream? Surely you must be joking
Hal is my husband
“We don't know, we NEVER know”
For me this whole scene is the most iconic moment of the series 😂
That scene and also when they beat up the clowns on her birthday
It's easily the most memorable.
You can tell Piama fell in love again in that moment, seeing the loyalty Francis had for his .lm
the look on her face when they set of to defend Lois ... pure adoration ... brilliant episode
@@SailorYue exactly
Ida may be an evil horrible person, but she did save Dewey's life.
Definitely true, and she did it without hesitation too. I think what makes the situation even more hilarious though is how Hal still hates her and doesn't even seem the least bit grateful she saved Dewey. His line "For God's sake Reese, your grandmother lost her leg! Show a little compassion for your mother who's stuck there taking care of that miserable hag!" Kills me every time😂😂😂
i was looking at this and realized she coulda yelled “watch out!” or something
I like to think she did it because she couldn't remember his name
The only intentional good thing to happen to Dewey 😥
Was that truck driver flossing his teeth while driving? 😂
I absolutely love how they stand up for eachother in the end
@@Fernando-kr9go
This is one of those little happy moments. 🐼
My Panda Buddy. I already like you more than many people i know
“When the allies hit the beaches of Iwo Jima they didn’t have better weapons than the Germans,” is a line that will forever give me an aneurism.
Hell yeah of course the Germans had better weapons
Plot twist he teaches history and Geography
@@foreverfishing7423 I actually wouldn't be surprised if that was true. When I was in high school, the sports coaches were all history teachers lol
@@jongon0848 LOL me too!!!
I can't help but wonder if it's a slight Animal House reference
"Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?!"
Probably not though.
That speed walking episode is iconic
Yes! I love the part when hal says " I can walk! " cracks me up
*LOOK AT ME! I CAN WALK!!*
The body builders one was funny too lol
4:20 I just noticed that she blows the smoke back into the house, lmao
Hahaha thats gold 😂 great spot
I never noticed that 😂😂
It's her passive-aggressive way of getting around Lois getting her to smoke outside.
I have done this, too 😂
19:18 The Komodo 3000 daylight blast was genius
Grandma Ida smoking outside just to blow smoke in gosh 🤣😂
This show will live on for generations to come !
I just noticed that in his inner thoughts , Malcom is Lois. In the outside, he’s Hal😂
Lol I said the same thing whenever he does his crazy antics I see Hal.
That smart mouth is definitely Lois.
That damn song during Ida's slowmo run sells it for me. 🤣
trafic in moscow by limpopo if i recall corectly if so spread the word
here it is ruclips.net/video/P6OfFBTVLYE/видео.html
The writing of the whole show is so perfect and never disappoints! There is never a lazy joke and always such a great buildup!
1:03 Piama falling in love with Francis is adorable. I love this show
Yeah, she was so proud in that moment, really showed how well she fit in with the family.
I actually really love Malcolm at 11:35 you can tell his satisfaction is genuinely from her getting revenge rather than just wanting to date her
The stomach of a 60 year old air traffic controller😂
Considering the stress malcolm has had to deal with..... I'm surprised that he only got one peptic ulcer!
@@mikegallant811 it's even more surprising considering everyone was nicer and like him more so it shouldn't have been stressing him out at all
@@nicolasneal204 I meant the stress that he's had to deal with from a control freak of a mother.
@@mikegallant811 what about the other kids? Their stomachs are ok
“give em a reason” is one of the funniest lines ever spoken
Komodo 3000 part always kills me
Lol same here, I would love to get some of that
Literally laughing at that rn 🤣🤣
Seen it before, but still laugh every time when it lights up like daylight.
That scene lives in my head rent free 😂
“How do we know which one is the komodo 3000” 😂
I love how grandma lost her keg to save her grandchild. She still sues her own family but deep down she loved em lol
Either that or she loves to be the one making him suffer, not the truck. Or it's like how grandpa favors Reese and thinks little of Malcolm... Mean spirited love.
I love all of Hal's hobbies.
I love the fact that the drill sergeant allowed Reese to save his game. Totally unrealistic but hilarious nonetheless
Not too unrealistic. He's merely allowing him to dig himself into an even bigger hole.
He can look forward to replaying only he never will.
someone here in the australian army literally broke formation while marching to kill a kangaroo with a knife. Witnessed the entire thing in cadets. When the Sargent asked why he did that, his reply was basically "I wanted to gut me a king red" so it's not too unrealistic.
@@easiesteevee2532 King red? I tried looking the term up and all I got was a bird and other odd military terms in Australia.
@@Random_Fanatic King reds are the biggest species of roo.
"Now kiss my shoe! KISS. . .MY. . .SHOE!!!"
That was one of the most satisfying scenes ever.
I like how the family comes together. They like to make each other miserable but they don't like others do that to their family.
dewey saying "give 'em a reason" and then smiling 🤣
Dewey shows the cops the picture of Reese as a kid bare ass lol
"look at me, I can WALK!!!" one my favorites lines in this show
"Give them a reason"
The suspect appears to be resisting
Oh, looks like they're taking out the pepper spray
🙂
I'm 71, and I first learned to play with fireworks in 1955. I ran with a small gang of kids. We had wars with other small gangs of kids. We used rocks & fireworks.
Out in the woods, roving groups of kids. All of them loaded down with rockets, Roman candles, fire crackers, and larger homemade fireworks. Kids often got hurt.
We got them to their houses, then ran.
Looking back, I can see 50 kids having a full-scale exchange standing 100 feet away. The smoke and sound and explosions, multi colored fire flying back & forth as each side fired all their fireworks!
It was glorious and dirty, everybody got burns. We did that twice a year.
At 17, I joined the real Army and got to use real rockets & explosives, and when I came back home. I went back out and ran through the woods with the gangs of kids.
Others had come home, too. Sometimes, out in the woods, at night, we would run into each other. Of course, we were a little crazy. We brought a new level to the playing field. We had money, and we all disabled vets. For about 3 or 4 years running. Everybody remarked that the level & intensity of the fireworks in the woods was truly a sight to hear & see.
The younger kids learned to follow orders and much much more. For the kids, it was super excitement. For the vets, it was a therapy of sorts. Times changed, and the woods became a suburb. Life went on.
❤❤❤
'Depends how much you're willing to spend' - 'Why don't you let my dad worry about that' literally the best and most Malcolm in the Middle line ever
The casting is perfect, Cloris Leachman did her best work in Malcolm in the middle. I love this show
Every single character. There's no minor role that isn't nailed by the performer. It's especially amazing considering how many child actors they necessarily had to find and they have some of my favourite minor supporting roles.
The punk pop music era of Malcom was awesome
sum 41, nostalgic man
#20 is Last Rock Show by Bowling for Soup!
It was a fun time. I got to witness Blink 182 booed offstage at the Inland Invasion.
Some fires got started, stuff got thrown, some flaming stuff got thrown.
Good times.
9:56 Reece came up with the Dennis system before Dennis himself
Reese was a jerk here, but double-d day makes me crack up
Brian Cranston is a damn genius.
What makes this show so great is each one in the family plays a unique significant role. Also the recuring characters are great too like Craig, the mean boss lady, etc
Otto.
Spangler.
#13..."What's her name?"
So awesome.
Resse driving perfect and running from police is just so satisfying 😅😁
The one with Cynthia and Reese is probably my favourite episode because it always makes me laugh. I don’t think this show has one bad episode I wish it was still on tv because I think it could have lasted longer then 7 seasons keep up the awesome work
I am a big lover of The office or Friends but I gotta admit Malcolm in the middle has always been my favorite comedy show ever seen and definitely a true masterpiece every year I rewatch all 7 seasons and god know it's not enough and its always makes me laugh the same way I laughed the first time watching. I live in France we are reputated to translate everything on tv and we had the best dubbing for Malcolm french version each character they had all perfect voices matching with their characters who were making each scene even funnier to watch.
Seasons 5, 6 and by far 7 were less funny
I didn't like the finale. I found Lois's plan to be completely idiotic, and it's sad that Malcolm didn't stand up to her.
@@pyromania1018 I have a problem with it too, instead of Malcom earning 6 figures which he could have used to be successful in his own way and support his family still Lois said no because of her own predetermined ideology that Malcom was to be president. Which is just toxic that you want to control what success your kids find in life.
at least the part where reese's barrel of noxious sludge exploded was funny
The guy that screams like a girl and gets comforted by his wife gets me every time🤣
The calendar on the fridge says Millennium - this show was a perfect representation of that period
Its funny that hal fits in any group he joins wether is the speed walkers or even his own neighbors
If sitcom laughs were used in this show, they would be played all the time 🤣 this show is so hilarious.
Plus the songs they used for some scenes are so good and unique 👌
Malcolm in the middle is my favorite show ever! ❤️💕✨ They don't make shows like this anymore
realy loved this programme - and for me this is Cranston's best ever acting. I know everyone goes on about Breaking Bad and of course he was excellent in that, but that was just playing a man who becones evil ... this was a whole different level. Who can play such a neutortic, insane man child like that? Brilliant and very underated acting in my opinion. How on earth was he only ever nominated and never the winner? All the characters were fantastic
I know this is very late but l just found this post. But l hope you have seen Bryan in Why Him ? He is so great in the movie !
The boys standing up for their mom is just fantastic.
brilliant show, some of the best writing ever, some great acting, and the actors completely bought into the characters.
RIP Cloris Leachman. A childhood fav, I absolutely loved she was on this show. So funny 😆
"You're nothing but a common... jogger!"
Look at her, gripping down her cigarette and just runs to the sound of the old country
Oh man I use to look forward to Friday nights to watch Malcolm in the middle ! Was the highlight of my week :p…. In the days before instant streaming 😉
"Thank God he's on our side"
Hal on roller skates was an outstanding moment 🤣
'What are you gonna do?'
"We don't know. We never know."
🤣🤣🤣🤣
The speed-walking episode is pure writing genius.
This episode is a masterpiece.😌
As a 11 year old I can say this is the best show I've ever seen btw it's on Disney plus
I have been watching it now. I am on the end of season three ! And loving it !
I miss this show...it was the best
This show was so much better than it needed to be, that or our standards just got SO low.
I miss good, talented movies, tv shows, and music. Oh and I really miss good writing.
"Did It Say When Our Vision Would Come Back?"
I love that line ! 🎇
The girl kicking Reese was so satisfying
4:45 The driver flossing his teeth is one of the funniest things I've ever snorted over...
The guy working the outdoor firework tent has all of his fingers, two eyes, AND all of his teeth
He may be new meat ! 🥩
*Dewey:* "Give them a reason"
😂 This was actually a show a watched from beginning to end..this is how I FIRST came to know Bryan Cranston AND then he jumped into Breaking Bad..it was REALLY hard for me to wrap my head around because I've ALWAYS known him as the lovable, crazy energy Hal *=)* what can I say, the man can act *=)*
this show does not get the love it deserves
one of the best comedy shows on the TV
it manages to stay fresh from the first to the last episode of the whole series
Great choices.
The power walk and firework bits were top tier.
I would have saved a spot for Hal Vs. The Bee
That thing with Malcolm spitting blood happened to me. I got bleeding ulcers from internalized anger
Damn, what was the recovery like?
@@aerystargaryenii2565 I still spit blood sometimes
@@BadBoyBobby85 really? Wow, I did not know it was so troublesome
Honestly, not enough credit goes to whomever was responsible for the soundtrack. Just amazing and provides that real early 2000s vibe.
For some reason, the 'blellow' bit is my quoted line from this show.
Bro, Ida was smoking outside and still blew the smoke into the house. LOL. How did I miss this?
"Did it say when our vision would come back? Box said 2 days....totally worth it ."
Getting home from school, playing gta San Andreas then watching this while waiting for mom to finish dinner, I miss being a kid.....
Double D day
He didn’t even blend the drink 😂😂
I have been watching all the episodes now. When I saw that part I thought he was fer sure going to forget to put the lid on ! But NO , he didn’t even bother to turn it on !
This was one of the greatest shows that we still talk about years after. The old mother was one of my favourites. I could imagine her as a gulag guard or nkvd pressing squad. She was one tough old bag😅😅
Can we get Breaking bad?
We have Breaking Bad at home.
14:29 *Breaking bad at home
One of the best shows ever
One of the best underrated shows ever!!!😂👍
The Komodo 3000 had me 😂 20 years ago and STILL laughing, they're going to need to play Marco Polo Hella LOUD to get back home
"all culminating in March 8th, Double-D Day" fucking killed me
Fun fact: air traffic controllers have to retire at 58, so you can't be a 60 year old air traffic controller
All my favorites hahahahah thanks for making this
Komodo 3000 should be in top 5
Cloris leachman was the goat
"Like watching the gods return to Olympus" 😂
14:23 walter Cooking either speed or meth energy drink😂😅
Malcolm holding his tongue is me.
Basketball coach was also the “ box flattening area” guy.
This Show was shown when my 17th sister did disneyplus A couple months ago. I binged this show. its the best show fanliy show ive seen
I like how everyone hates them when they are just being openly honest about everything 😂😂 It's like the episode where malcolm babysits in the 'perfect' family. Turns out his chaotic but at least honest family was not so bad, and that everyone has at least one member in their family with a screw loose😂 This show was really popular back in my younger days so rewatching right now~
That firework LOL
I'm just starting this vid and I hope the one scene with the firework that turns night into day is in this one.
Edit: was not disappointed.
Number 20 was by far the best moment as this is what happens with all siblings when their mom is crying from rude family members we prepare for war
Francis always loved his Pyromaniac old ways
It just took Francis' little Brothers Reese and Malcolm to remind Francis how much he loved it.
one of the best most underrated shows ever
One of my favorite and best shows EVER!!!
That last one! It's a "sight gag" with a tie in. Hilarious.
19:17 is the best scene
Such a great show
I had such a crush on Reese actor Justin Bernfield back in the day. Funny show!
5:56-6:05 That's right up there with Percy from Blackadder trying to create gold, and creating "green"
What a combination. Actors, writers and Directors.. I first saw this series with German voice-overs. The difference was life impregnating.
My favorite episode by far when they destroyed the dinner party. They always defended their mother.
Reese had Ida's personality.
Malcolm had Hal's personality.
Frances demonstrated Lois' nicer side and Dewey demonstrated her manipulative side.
As for Jaime and the new baby hopefully they'll be back for a reboot.
“What’s her name?” 😂
