They should have made Jake a more mature simpleton with his childhood innocence still intact (like Forrest Gump) as he grew up instead of being such a goof ball. Older Jake didn't really work out very well compared to his younger version.
What happened to the scene where Charlie came in wasted and allen quizzes him and Jake for a test and they had imaginary buzzers...that's one of the funniest ones to me. .
