You have some of the best videos on RUclips, because you don’t just make videos, you’re an actual Cinematographer. And most Cinematographers don’t put a lot of time and care into their videos.
    Thanks for this! Very helpful.

I just want to say thank you for what you do, and so far, everything I've seen on your channel is fantastic. I'm a 45-year-old restaurant professional and sommelier who was headed into the Master of Wine program until COVID hit, and now I am fulfilling on an age-old passion for becoming a filmmaker. I am in just my third month at Los Angeles Film School, and we are barely scratching the surface of our technical basics; this video, in particular, is like a mini masterclass. I will be devouring everything you produce, and it's a pleasure with such beautiful and elegant shots. I will most likely be doing a lot of initial work in vineyards, which is part of my long-term vision and background. So I look forward to seeing you on the playground someday and hopefully learning more from you as well. Ciao.

Mateo Thank You for this beautifully shot, elegantly explained video. I am a high end Retoucher transitioning my skills to video and color grading. Hearing you talk about letting your shadows go black for the silouhetted scene got an amen 🙏 from me! You don’t know how many times I’ve been in a color booth with a photo editor reviewing a gorgeous image and because it has some darkness in it they want to open the shadows that should be dark! This affects mood, alters the reality of the scene- the #honesty of it. Loved 🥰 this video. Your shooting style and pragmatic explanation. Subscribed! 👊

Thanks a lot! This was really useful! Didn't know where the usual sweet spot lies with false colors. I've previously just avoided blues and reds without further fine adjustments. Also incorrectly recalled about BMPCC 4K's native ISO by much higher, so glad you brought it up, because I would've kept being way off the ISO reference without looking in to it.
