October can be a surprisingly mild month - we can only hope that this is the case, along with a drier one too.
The month ahead is the last chance to get bits 'n bobs done outside after work, during the working week - a bit of tidying, readying for winter or whatever.
The "long dark" as I often call it, starts at the end of October when the clocks fall back.
I've never got used to it. (yes, I know, we're not exactly in the same territory as the north of Scandinavia, but it can still be a gloomy dark period!)
But fingers crossed and looking forward to the deep dive etc. this week as we head into what is usually a transitional month.

Well We really have had some rain in East Anglia !
At least my lawn looks green again 😂
Most of today has been lightish rain that’s had chance to soak into the ground but tonight’s heavy rain may not soaks that well
