In 2021, I almost shut this business down.
I stopped sending emails after sending an email every single day for 3 years…
Even though this business had made me a lot of money and helped me reach my goals, I seriously considered walking away.
Why?
As you grow in business-and in life-your goals and perspective change.
I started this business back in 2013 because I wanted to learn how to run an online business and make a little extra money.
By 2021, our painting companies were thriving, and this business had become an afterthought. The reasons I started it no longer felt relevant, and I was this close to shutting it down.
But then, I looked at all the people we had helped. The businesses we had impacted. The lives that had changed because of what we shared.
And I realized-we had to keep going.
My painting business has given me an incredible life. And I knew I had to help other people do the same thing.
So, we decided to keep Painting Business Pro going, and got crystal clear on our mission.
We broke it down into three core goals:
#1. Freedom. Helping people gain freedom in every area of their lives: financial freedom, time freedom, work freedom, and more.
#2. Discover what’s possible. Showing painting contractors the incredible opportunities available in this industry and in business… and just how good it can all get. You have no idea what you’re capable of.
#3. Building companies that people love. Helping people build businesses that are truly great-businesses that customers love, employees love, and that create a better life for you and your family.
These are not just a fancy Mission Statement or “Corporate Speak.”
This is what we live for. And we’d love to have you on board.

Eric, I've been watching your videos for years. You were one of the main influencers for me back in my stage of figuring out how to estimate an exterior. You have grown tremendously in your business and channel. I love the new black drop and lighting behind you. You can't hide the eyes with that set up. And the inspiration of your stories and your transparency about how you came to be where you are now. Every time I watch (and listen) to your videos it gives me a little more determination to keep learning and to do what I need to do to be better. Thank you for taking the time to speak not only about business and money but about being a good human. You're one of the few real ones.
