Thanks for the video. In my area of Puerto Vallarta there is great garbage pickup every night and neighbours go on WhatsApp to talk about garbage pickup reminders. During the day my neighbours sweep the sidewalks. It’s not near the tourist areas and it’s actually a Mexican colonia closer to Pitillal. It really depends on the neighbourhood for the cleanliness.
That’s a great idea! The neighbours sweep their property every morning but by nighttime the streets are a hot mess lol
@@Morelifediaries in this colonia the neighbours let people know directly if they take out the garbage too early or too late. WhatsApp is really used in the area to inform people. Much different than my old neighbourhood in Canada. The colonia is also great for kids as it’s got a park. LOL
Our neighbourhood is strict on time to but the garbage out. I’m not talking about garbage bags but just wrappers, cans, bottles, corn 😂

As someone who is getting ready to move to Mexico later this year, I truly appreciate your honest content. While we are looking to move to Aguascalientes, PV has always been my favourite beach to visit in Mexico.

Marc & Kathleen, it is good to hear these things, the good and the bad. I don't see it as a bad thing, just that people need to be more aware of not just the people there, but how we as "canadians" behave. The expats are guests in the country, and we need to keep that in our mindset. I would be curious to know about how the bus system is in PV. As a non-driver, I depend on public transit to get around. I took it once when I visited there but that was many years ago. It wasn't bad, and seemed easy enough to understand, stops are shown on the windshield of the bus. I think it would be interesting to see in an episode, a small map maybe? Anyhow, thank you for the excellent content.
Thank you 😊 taking the bus is a great idea! It hasn’t changed since you took it - main locations are in the window and the go all over town. Kathleen takes it pretty frequently!

just came back from pv a few days ago...I wanna go back in June. Do you guys plan on living in PV....forever?
I’m not sure about forever - things could change so we never know. But it’s definitely for right now. We’d love to have PV as our home base and have rental properties here and continue to discover Mexico. That’s the goal right now!
