This fight is impressive in all aspects- the most impressive part though, is SMvR is weaker than the fight reccomends. You can tell because Baldurs healthbar is purple, which usually infers a *very* strong enemy compared to Kratos.
Freya's pleading always gets me, doing absolutely everything possible to prevent her sons death even begging and it still happens anyway, right in front of her no less. The absolute agony.
Kratos should have let him kill her. She loved an unlovable asshole and then condemned Kratos for saving her life. Despite the fact that i never understood Baldur, i understood Freya even less.

So seeing someone with that big/pure of heart get it broken is tough to watch. Reason you don't get it is you probably don't have that gift but hey not many of us do, were all shallow ultimately. Baldur finally being able to feel, and welcoming the attacks like burn and ice. how after he was vulnerable it looked like he was going to thank Kratos and Atreus, but Freya fucked it up. and how he was finally able to find peace. everything here is heart aching. mad props to the writers.
