- Another wide range of Bush wrecks and barn finds from my travels, I hope you enjoy and please share, like & subscribe to see more.
Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it.
Must have been a pretty slick falcon with those stainless sill covers.
Was a XP Fairmont wagon would have also had chrome wheel arch trim aswell . The steering Columb is worth grabbing as it's for a 3 speed auto and very rare part . Notice tthe disc brake front end is long gone
Wow the hq looks really good
Yeah it sure did , still sitting there too unfortunately
Straight out with another panel van project I see.
I did ask if it was possibly for sale but unfortunately not….
The valiant with the v8 is My favourite running gear anyway the body looks pretty shot
Yeah it’s a shame it’s so rusty.
That van so reminds me of the coka cola freedom machine van from the late 70s
That would have been quite the thing back in the day
Sure does , it was featured in a magazine when it was fresh. I’d love to see the article and pics.
HQ looks half a chance, stato door trims seats look GTS🤠, load that 318 on to your trailer, im just up the road, ( sunshine coast)) see you soon ( mate)🤠
Yes a few good bits on that hq which is very saveable
The CF Bedford must have been a pretty slick boogie van in it's day. I used to know the guy who designed those vans for GM UK. He was still doing body clays for GM 15 years ago.
It was featured in van wheels or similar magazine back in its day apparently, definitely a cool machine when fresh .
Would be a good van to get hold of
I built this van when I was 20
@@jillanderson3460 would love to see some details on it, how you built it, with what parts? Would have been an amazing, character building project!
Plenty of photos off it on the F/b Bedford site
Gave it a like before I even watched it 👍👍. Fair bit of ford on the old Bedford,, thanks for sharing again.
Thanks, yes it’s a definite mixed identity van and very cool.
Thanks for the video. My husband built the Bedford when in his 20s . He did try to buy it back but could never get an answer
Thanks.
That’s awesome, do you have any pics of it being built or when it was fresh ? I’d love it if you could email me if you do. Or look me up on Instagram and I could message you my email there. I’d love the build story etc. hope you enjoyed the memories
Awesume mate dj from automotive karnage is looking for dodge Ute parts he's in the Perth outback somewhere lols love the old hqs hard to get here in nz now , keep hunting this was great to see , cheers , shaneo, nelson,nz👍🍺
Glad you enjoyed it cheers.
Dig the old Jag with a SBC in it, that's pretty cool. I can almost smell the stench as you opened the door, add a bit of American flavor to the English style and drive it across Australia. Good to see some moddied Jag's loitering around still. The HQ also caught my eye. Thanks Troopy Guy.
Glad you enjoyed it, the jag would be so cool to give a quick tidy up and start driving it.
WOW even as a ford man someone save that lovely HQ :D and the valiant even the van. and the jag
Totally agree….
Bloody loved the video Thankyou
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching
Ripper video Dave, keep it up mate 👍
Thanks mate, glad you like them.
The HQ looks like a good project . (:
Sure does
i loved that green 4 x door v8
Yes same
Did you step on a frog near that van at the back of the roadhouse lmao
Ha ha yep, didn’t even edit it out to see how many picked it up 😂
@@ablokeinatroopyaustraliawide miss ya humour bro , was telling a few stories of our days when u allways cracked me up. Take care mate , enjoying ur vlogs
Fun times back then and hopefully more to come ✌🏻
More often that not you see those Bedfords sitting up somewhere rather than on the road.
Which is a shame, I’d love to see that one out cruising again.
@@ablokeinatroopyaustraliawide was the bedford for sale?
Unfortunately no but I left my number just in case that changes.
@@ablokeinatroopyaustraliawide Makes you wonder why anyone would leave good shit like that to just rot in the bush.
The old Holden looks like it's in fair condition... the sort of thing for a project car/ restoration job....
It certainly is in good restorable condition , thanks for watching
Weld the backdoors.airbrush
I'll grab the HQ Menzies you say
Would be nice if it was for sale . 👍🏻 thanks for watching.
grab the beddy and revitalize it
I did try to buy it but to no avail unfortunately.
Atleast no bodies hahaha.like living proof.
Diff worth abit
You don't no if beddy would be for sale
Was that Bedford featured in Vanwheels magazine years ago? The big Chev rear window looks familiar.
I do believe it was but I couldn’t track down pics from its feature.
@@ablokeinatroopyaustraliawide I had a bit of a hunt myself but couldn't find it either. It would be a great resto project.
Yes
There is no saving the old valiant 😢😢
It’s plentiful of rust that’s for sure, it could be saved but not viable to do so.
Last time a bird shit on the boot of me HQ i told her she'd never get in it again 😂
😂👍🏻
That Bedford van I'm sure was owned by a bloke that had a curled up waxed moustache about 20 yrs ago.
Very cool, I wonder if it was the same guy that has it now or that’s who he bought it off years ago?
@@ablokeinatroopyaustraliawide I use to see him around spearwood. Probably in his late 70s by now. Big rolly fella lol
Cool, different owner now then.
What size lift is in that troopy looks mint
Thanks, it’s a spring over axle conversion, I’ve never measured it against a stock height troopy but as an indicator they are 35” tyres on it….
