If you can sing in a choir or if you can dance, you can do it. I got into drumming when I became a frustrated tap dancer. It was like the exact same thing. I used to tell the young kids I helped to.instruct that if they signed themselves up fir glee club kr choir in the comibg school yr that nit only woukd it help.them learn faster, it would help them w/their memory. A lot of them git back to me by winter to tell me that I was rt.
A lot of it has to do with projection and balance in the ensemble. Super high tuning projects way better and fits nicely in something like a drum corps. For a setting like this, not nearly as necessary.
This is obviously extremely well executed and sounds amazing. However, all the boomers in the comments need to chill and learn to appreciate evolution. Kevlar sounds great, and so does mylar. Both tunings have their own benefits, and I dig them both. All the Kevlar hate is pretty narrow minded in my opinion
good job and the snare sounds nicely unkevlared
The only cadence where mylar sounds good
@@eboone Mylar sound is superior to kevlar on every cadence.
Mylar makes a snare drum sound like a snare drum. Long live mylar!
@Dennis Johnson Drummer Ehhhhhh no
It amazes me that they can learn AND MEMORIZE these charts.

Again… great job snare line!
That was NOT what I was expecting from the thumbnail. Nice job!
So good Artie!
Wow! Snare drums that sound like snare drums. What a concept!
Great job
Absolutely loved it.
It would have been sweet to hear the quint drum part played on actual quint drums, otherwise y'all got going on.
Keep chopping gentleman.
Really clean! Great Job
WOW, this is NICE!!
Pro tip: Legends don't let their pit setup look like amateur hour when the battery has clean-ass Pearls to play.
