  • After years of enduring the harsh British weather, I’ve finally fitted some heated grips and handguards to my 2021 Yamaha MT09 SP!
The heated grips are the Premium Sport Hot Grips from Oxford and the Carbon handguards are from Barkbusters which both fit very easily:

Thanks for watching this update on my Yamaha MT09 SP.

Just like the commenter below, I connected mine to the factory connectors and ran them through the dash. No need for the controller. 10 settings, they work great!

kinda late. but yamaha has heated grips that fit right on. and even better they have the control built into the ecu/dash. 10 settings. best part is they plug right in behind the front cowl on the right side.

Hello there , you don’t need the controller , you can connect the grips to the Yamaha system behind the headlight , 10 lovely settings and it will work great 👍🏻

Nice! I’ll look into this. Thanks for the advice :)

@@EddieSetGo you just need a pair of Yamaha indicator connectors to solder onto the grips cable , they’ll plug straight in that way , I got the wrong ones so modified the grip side and in they went 👍🏻 the bike side then stays untouched when removed

Also, you can buy the Oxford replacement grip kit instead, it won't' come with the controller and its a lot cheaper. With some basic wiring, you connect them to the factory location as mentioned by the other two commenters, and boom! You have heated grips that are accessible through the bikes LCD screen. MUCH cleaner! @@EddieSetGo
