There are musicians and there are masterful musicians. There are lyricists and then there are some who are masterful at writing lyrics. There are composers that write melodies that grab the hearts of singers and then there are composers who write masterfully for singers. The world needs to know about a masterful musician, a wonderful lyricist and a brilliant composer named Glenn Burleigh (1949-2007).
Jesus Is The King is an example of Burleigh’s timely and biblical approach to Gospel Music. This song speaks to all who need to be reminded that no matter who’s in charge. . . Jesus Is The King!
A few of Burleigh’s friends (with spiritual and musical guidance from Barbara Tucker) came together virtually to record this song. We hope that this video and that this song blesses and encourages you.
