Can't believe I was a freshman in high school when the trailer dropped, now I'm about to graduate college and tempted to take a break from editing my thesis film to play this 😂
Ha!
Good Luck with the thesis!! Congrats on graduating as well
i saw this exact comment on reddit
Can't believe I was in the middle of my Economics major in Undergrad when the trailer dropped and now I'm a practicing lawyer. lol. This is also why I pat myself on the back for thinking all the people in those E3 crowds in the past that would go "WOOO" after trailers of nothingness showing blades of grass and then just saying "last of us" coming TBD, were lame and just cheer for anything. I find those trailers pointless and shouldn't exist. Only show a reveal trailer when there's in-engine footage.
I’m in the same position except I didn’t go to college, unfortunately. Regardless, it’s crazy to think this game has been 7 years in making. It’s been a long road, but the time is now, and the hype is real!
First time watching as normally catch the podcasts.. Didn't know Tim records in the Business class of an aircraft! 🤣
🤣 nice
And his camera is crooked and it drives me nuts
lmfao
Greg whispering Beyond and later when Tim gave a look at the camera when Bless said “beyond” made me smile.
So Greg was like "No trophies? No thanks, here you go Bless" lmao
Preview codes were PCs only
Greg's a console guy probably always will be like me. Plus I'm not even that interested in it anyway
Greg looks good with his purple eyeshadow
Blessing: "Can't wait to replay on my PlayStation."
CD Projekt RED: "Urm... About that."
Tim and Greg both saying "BEYOND!" with their facial expressions ended me! lol
I CANNOT wait till this drops. Today is my last day of university classes, I need a world to get immersed in.
Same. I’m wrapping up my final paper and then I’m off until February
Same final for software engineering is in 10 hours
I can't get past how Bless pronounces "prevalent."
Bro, same.
Real tough look after Greg pronounced it correctly and Bless uses it immediately after, twice, incorrectly
What is up with these Cyberpunk discussions & the pronunciations? I just listened to 1 of the big reviews on YT before this vid & the voiceover guy pronounces the word "attribute" as a verb (at-TRIB-ute) instead of the noun (AT-trib-ute) used to refer to talents/ skills in games 🤣
Love to see Blessing getting the review on this. Great review in general and I really liked the setup of Greg/Tim asking questions and Blessing answering. Awesome work guys.
Greg and Tim playing the sly game giving the code to Blessing 😂 I hope his experience wasn't dampened by the thoughts of having to get it done for review 😳
“Sometimes I would see enemies just go crazy, and bug out, and like fly all over the place.” - Blessing
I’d like to imagine this is not a game bug, but NPC’s just lose control of themselves and fly off.
"Ight imma head out"
This game comes out my last day of finals...time to push through everyone!!
Best of luck! Hope you kick those finals’ asses!
@@GamingTechUnited Thanks!
Good luck on finals! Just finished my last one today. Now the wait for Cyberpunk begins!
@@otemsgerald Appreciate it! I hope yours went well!
Blessing already beat the game?! I havnt even decided what class I'm gonna pick (probs nomad)
@@adblockevery1243 blessing is awesome. All these guys are, they just seem like normal guys who love playing games. Take that disrespect elsewhere
29 minutes of BUGS content. Can't wait to see Greg blame it on the TurboTax! : )
Yall stressed Blessings out for no reason from the jump
It begins!
The way he says "prevalent" 😆
Notification squad!! Where you at??
ACAB Blessing wasn’t something I expected, but I’m enjoying it nonetheless.
I was in HS when the very first teaser dropped and now I'm in my 1st year of Med school, its been a long time coming!
From the reviews, I feel like this is CDPR's Skyrim, rather than a Cyberpunk Witcher, if that makes sense
Let’s just hope it’s not CDPR’s Fallout 4.
Here we go....
Also, always appreciate the amazing content from you guys. Happy Holidays Kinda Funny
Blessing had me at "you can play as a cyber ninja" 😳.
Wednesday night can't come soon enough!
RIP this guy lol.
This video kind of feels like Blessing is in College and Greg and Tim are his TAs grading his presentation. lolol - Shout out to Blessing though! Great addition to the KF Family!
LOL FOR REAL! Blessing has that younger energy (and age)
This might get updated but right now the only two timestamps are "start" and "bugs" loooool (watch the video for full context because Blessing likes the game
38:10 and the camera zooms back and you see a gun spawning in their hands while they start running sideways, still looking forward.
Really looking forward to this game!
blessing doing this review was like getting front row seats to a lakers game and lebron and anthony davis is not playing
They really put bugs in the timestamp instead of Cyberpunk lmfaoooo, great vid as always
I don't understand how KF as a company hasn't "blessed" Blessing with a recent GPU and rig to play games as part of his job. He mentioned his card isn't capable of Ray tracing
The wait is over. We’re so close!
bhahahaha this comment aged well.
The main story may not be long in order for players to go back and try the different starting points. Nomad, Corpo, Street kid
Was listening to this and heard the XP points part while I was at the ATM machine to go pay for my visit in the ER room from when I LOL out loud too much.
7 Assassin's Creed games since that first trailer dropped - the year Black Flag was released.
This review did not age well
There it begins
Everything that Blessing said is what I am hoping for. Even the demerits (except the bugs) that he said, sounds like fun to me. Also, the main story being around 25~ with ton of side stuff reminds me of Fallout 4, which I spent 150ish hours with on my 1st playthrough.
Hey Google, how do you pronounce "Prevalent"
I can't believe this is actually happening! 😭 This game was announced back in the Xbox 360 era.
47:04 "He is the one" Neo lives!
Interesting I heard other reviewers say the branching and all the options are super extensive. I can't wait to try out for myself and see :)
Loved to hear blessings thoughts on this. Very well put. Cannot freaking wait for the release on thursday, ive got a 4 day weekend to really sink into it :)
Love the Never Ending Story background at around 18:50.....Artaaaaaaax. I remember crying pretty hard during that scene.
Great review, Blessing. I'm a fan of how you honestly articulated your impressions.
complete horse shit review tbh and completely dishonest.
Do you think the day 1 patch will be enough to iron out enough of the bugs to improve the experience to a decent level or is worth waiting a few months for it to be very ironed out?
If I had to guess, I think the day 1 patch will improve it to a decent level, but still nowhere near perfect. I'd wait a bit for them to iron out bugs more post-launch. On a positive note, that will work out for most of us, as so many of us are hunting after a new console or GPU that goes out of stock seconds after they become available.
The only cyberpunk review I could want to watch before I play the game, awesome video guys
👏👏 great work Bless! Fantastic questions Greg and Tim. Super insight. Can’t wait to play through.
Interesting discussion! I bought CP2077 for my brother & it looks great on his PC. Our biggest issues so far:
(1) people/ items sinking into the ground/ floor or walls;
(2) driving needs an overhaul bc it feels loose, fishtails, minimap is too zoomed in, & car cost isn't balanced;
(3) multiple dialogues speaking simultaneously or repeating & messing up quests; &
(4) slow pacing & linearity of initial 8hr that had long convos & dialogue that felt like filler & could've been cut.
We agree the game feels like Deus Ex + Witcher + GTA + Borderlands. That presents a design issue: CP2077 is so much of a hybrid, it won't fully satisfy players who want a FPS, RPG or looter shooter. For me the biggest let-down is that u customize Vee but play in 1st POV & Vee clearly has his own story & a personality that doesn't reflect me or my choices. My brother & I both wish we could've played in 3rd POV to see customization, cyberware & gear. Maybe I felt more incongruity with Vee than my brother (since I'm a girl). I made a girl but Vee's interactions with the world are masculine. I'm not saying all girls should act feminine, but if ur a cishet girl you'll be super aware that ur playing a tough-guy. Tbh my girl Vee feels less relatable to me than Geralt, who's an old man lol! Premade playable characters can be super compelling, e.g., in RPGs like Divinity Original Sin 2 or even action games like Hellblade2 Senua's Sacrifice. Borderlands2 was my fave game as a kid, & part of its charm was choosing from a diverse & funny set of playable chars with a unique personality & backstory. But in RPGs with char creation, writers should make the protagonist a "blank slate" where players can project our imagination.
I do think CDPR can dramatically improve this game by tweaking/ adding just a few things. Maybe CP2077 could give us a DLC where we get to play as a different pre-made character with his/her own background & personality. Hopefully CDPR will give us a transmog system, overhaul the driving & economy, & maybe a camera update if not a full 3rd-person mode so we can see our character more. On PC I'm sure there will be amazing mods eventually, too. I'd still recommend CP2077 to friends who can afford it. I love the art direction & colors of Night City & the cyberpunk theme 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I love that the main quest is concise/short. I like being able to get to the end of a game and experience a complete story. And if I want to spend more time in the world I’ll spend more time doing sidequests
A lot of times that story isn’t really complete without the side quests or the added context of them.
@@Alex_Logan22 No but you achieve a sense of closure from completing the main campaign. Not everybody has time for a 100 hour game or hundreds of side quests, but I’d still like a complete experience for my money
@@wikum3
You get "an" experience rather than just a part of one, but I wouldn't necessarily call it complete. You could skip some episodes of a show as well and still get a relatively cohesive story.
LET'S FREAKING GO LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! My body and soul is ready 😍
bhahahahaha I wonder what this one thought of this game after all the bugs. Must be still falling through the world
@@purefoldnz3070 easy I enjoyed it alot🤷♂️. Beat the game and I'll most likely go back with the PS5 version comes out
@@johnsantisteban7362 the only enjoyable part of the game is laughing at all the bugs. What a shit show.
I’ve seen other reviews mentioned there are multiple endings. Blessing makes it sound like the ending is mostly the same for everyone. I’m not sure which to believe.
The more side gigs you do, the more endings you can choose from. Plus the different life paths multiply that.
By the sounds of it with the amount of side quests your not supposed to power through the main storyline in 25 hours, you are supposed to do side quests along with main story.
Still curious (and a bit worried) how this runs on og Xbox one and PS4. This review has me looking forward to trying it out hopefully it runs okay on my og Xbox one. Great review Blessing!
I absolutely can’t wait to dive into this game on Thursday!
Been waiting for this all morning.
Kinda funny + Ciberpunk??!!!! Grab popcorn! Here we go!
This sounds great, but based on the reviews I'm very worried about performance and bugs. Hopefully they sort out the issues pretty quickly.
“I don’t fuck with corporations”, he said as he rigidly adhered to an embargo.
About lifepaths: we are all nomads going in... 2nd playthrough we have the arrogance of the street kid... By the 3rd we might be much more cold and calculated like a corpo!
Tim killing it with the short hair!!
The only question Bless answered with confidence is “is it game of the year? No”. Lol
I’m sorry but bless was stressing me out they asked is it game of the year “no” is it in the conversation? “Yes” what I’m so confused he couldn’t make up his mind. The whole review he kept getting scared and then when Greg questioned him he would say well it’s not bad but it’s ok and some good. Just all over the place lol.
You talked about the world and its scale, details and how realized it is, bringing up BOTW, GTA V, and Fallout 3+4. When I think of detailed and grand worlds, those titles come up but the king for me is RDR2 (regardless of problems with controls and mission design) Do you see/feel similarities in world design between the two titles?
They have no respect for RD’s world. There’s ALL KINDS of bs about RDO but the world is amazing.
Wow under 30 hours is actually a positive for me.
From what I understand from multiple review. Even if it's 20 hours playthrough it has an amazing replayability.
If you want to, you'll be able to sink 100+ hours into but in 4-5 playthrough
@@hqdavid That is the best possible scenario for me, shorter game with replay ability is better than a 200 hour game IMO. I’ve played re4 like 10 times and find it less daunting than an epically long rpg even though the hours count would be similar.
@@jyoung188 I agree completely.20 to 30 hours game is the sweet spot for me. It's about a month of gaming since I work full time and study at night. Im so excited to play this.
I'm just tryna see what a 100% complete run takes? All side missions max level and such
@@paulsmith9192
So 300+ hours for the different life paths and the multiple endings that spawn from the amount of side quests completed. Blessing only had one ending to choose from cause he mainlined it. The different ways to engage encounters probably helps with the 3 play throughs too.
Can I just impolitely smash through a wall rather than using the door, or are they like most video game doors? -impervious to any ordnance known to man.
I never go back and replay a game simply on where I can just rescope my stats differently or make slightly different choices but ultimately the results of the game are the exact same i.e. Mass Effect or Assassin's Creed or Borderlands or Deus Ex, etc and so on. I am a completionist but only within my single game. I just don't see a point after I know what is going to happen. Story is paramount for me. I am wondering if this can this be the game that changes that. Will the story truly be completely different based on how I play?
Ha! I was in early puberty when this was revealed and now I’m old enough to drink!
Blessing did a great job with the review! Props to him.
Blessing did an outstanding job with this review discussion (Tim and Greg as well). Breaking down and covering so much of the game for over an hour without spoiling anything is a huge feat. Major props on what's been my favorite Cyberpunk review thus far!
Ad ends at 30:21
SO glad to hear him say shooting feels good. That was my biggest concern...😊👌
I’ve heard positive things about the shooting and gunplay most say it’s good
Blessing got me so excited to play this game. Thanks for the review Bless.
Give bless a friggin raise
Now we know why Blessing's tropies are hidden 😂
He played on PC! He's just a weirdo about his Trophies! - Greg
Greg has a very soothing voice.
Just looking at the timecodes...I'm scared for how long bugs take lol
33:45 lol I've had that happen on Messenger and iMessage after an update to the software or if the internet is really bad.
Omg Tim is listening so intently to Blessing explain everything and then gets excited - I love it!
He ain’t called Tim the hype man for nothing.
My play style is to clean up side stuff and then finish off with the main story. That then leaves me going away from the game on a high note rather than a grind... So yeah it might take me a while 😅
Bless, keep those wolverine chops growing! Looking good.
FUCK YEAH!!! JUST FINISHED WORK, and now I GET THIS GREATNESS BEFORE BED
I'm not challenging KF here. I'm asking a honest question. How is it right to offer an opinion on a game you had to rush through to meet a deadline so you can have the review ready in time? Most people don't play it like that. A lot of games work great if you put in 3 hours a day 3-4 times a week, played like that might drastically impact your thoughts on the game. There's a gameplay loop to be enjoyed if played liked that. Imagined having to go through the same gameplay loop 10 times a day so you can beat it in 5 and write a review. Not saying that's what KF did, I'm asking in general. How is it right to review a game when under tremendous pressure? How does that not skew your views on it?
i think they had the wrong person reviewing this game, one of the old heads should have reviewed it
They had him review it cuz he had a week to do so and had to rush and the old heads wanna take their time with it and play it how they want
You gave blessing the blessing to do the review 😉
the 20 hours is one character line correct? considering there are 3 different characters lines and they all prob have their own side quests, we are looking at 60-100 hour playthrough depending on how you play, no?
My take on most reviews is It's a 9-10 game, with far fewer bugs, so in a few months, but 8-9 as is.
ah no. Its on the list for the worst games of the year.
Does anybody else have the audio cutting out periodically? It’s been like this for weeks.
You know it's bad when there's an entire hour of the video titled "bugs" lol
Nah
I’m so nervous!!! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
The atmosphere in this game is incredible. I’m glad I gave it a second chance with the true next-gen update.
Riddle:What goes up but never comes down ??
Best review I've seen from Blessing, I am usually critical of how wishy washy or contradictory he can be but he seemed much more disisive and confident in his opinions. Good job and keep getting better!
That’s cause the others didn’t play it. You’ll probably see that return next week, but I’ve never really minded it. He’s open minded and flexible, not necessarily a bad thing.
He is still wishy washy. He said cypunk is the best living world he ever play in a video game but at the end of the video he seem to not like it as much even though at the begining it seems like he love it.
@@Alex_Logan22 I mean it's always good to be open minded but not so great for a review. If you just change your mind or opinion everytime you are pushed to defend your thoughts then it just kind of takes away your credibility on that topic and isn't that enjoyable to listen to
@@vinzig5036
It depends on how valid the criticisms/arguments are in the discussion. For example, I felt Colin was way too firm without ever considering others much, while Blessing is a bit of the opposite, but still closer to that middle balance that they should be striving for. Blessing doesn't really change his own personal opinions much, just grows to understand others' better when there's validity to em.
Wonder what enemy types there are. In would be cool if there were like coyotes and cyberware beasts maybe out in the badlands. They exist in the lore
particularly cyber tigers
Blessing did a really great job reviewing this
I haven't experienced any bugs yet. I don't have the game and haven't played it, BUT I haven't experienced any bugs.
1:13:14 At the time of writing, he nailed it!
I want to know about how gangs work and how they operate in the game. I want to also know how love interests are and are they detailed or are they shallow like fallout 4? Thanks.
This is KFG Vol. 2, Episode 53 (Episode 305 overall)
Wind's howling.
Hmm, maybe for the inevitable spoilercast; did you come across the Witcher's Ciri? Since she mentions a Cyberpunk like world during her dimensional travels..
He says his card doesn't support RTX yet he is able to play the game at ultra settings?
Awaiting PS5 update
