Just watched the Portland skate contest all weekend. Was not expecting to see Tom and Tate on my favorite podcast today. Looking forward to this boys!

Instead of making the park course bigger, they need to add a vert contest. It makes no sense that there isn't vert. I knew these guys would medal if not take gold. I was going to make a Jimmy Wilkins style bet on Tom and Tate--literally drive out to Vegas and make several thousands of dollars--but couldn't. I love the barging on the olympic course stories with Gonz. The park skaters are phenomenal and Tom and Tate are at the pinnacle of this exceptional cross section of skaters.

28:45 I wonder how many people that Christian Jacobs knows closes the gap of 7 degrees between other people. That guy knows everybody and is cool to everybody. Some people are cool and know it and don't talk to people not on their level, Chirstian is cool like if you meet him he'll talk to you and get to know you whoever you are. Just a sweet, fun guy. I've met a lot of people that have met Tony but I am pretty sure Christian is the only one who if we were talking and Tony walked by he'd be like hey Tony, hey, this is my friend bigsirzebras.

New pro skater Phoenix Sinnerton makes skating look easy. He is from my home town Santa Cruz so of course I am a fan. I was impressed with first pro event. Ellis, Hawk would like to see him on your podcast!

How come not one producer has told Tom to not chew gum on a podcast ?!? What do these Producers get paid for?
People put him on a pedestal and no one wants to tell him no to anything, or maybe he was told and was like "fuck you, gum stays". Someone should just show him that gum is full of toxic chemicals now. I only know of 2 gum brands that still use real sugar. All the rest are silly putty.

I have to disagree with the Skateboard Olympic Tattoo. A flat 2D tattoo yeah not grate. BUT a 3D Olympic rings laid back 70* so it's almost flat and the rings made to look like pools. Then in the back 3 pools a little dude doing a hand plant in one, a chick doing a smith grind in another and another stater doing a low or lip trick. Then the front 2 pool having aerial tricks. One of those skaters you would have as yourself. Then having the pool coping done in light sandy Olympics colours.
Depending on your taste you could have the skaters with big heads so that you see the faces and each of the other 4 skaters could be your team mates or friends.
Or a street course ramp, box or rail and having the Olympics rings on it. Then yourself doing your favorite trick from your run on or off it.
If you think about it there are a lot of cool ways you could do the Olympic Rings in a totally original Tat.
Give Colin his gold medal and paycheck. He got robbed.
