People wonder why Gahata isn't more popular but in all honesty people are not giving enough effort to make her more popular. Even I didn't figure out about her until a few months ago, it is truly tragic. ;-;

She’s pretty hard to use as far as I’ve heard. That could be some of it. The steep learning curve.
It doesn't help that she has almost no original songs to her name; people just use her for covers.

Wow, she sounds very good for a UTAU. I mean, many UTAU sound good, but she doesnt have that strong... UTAUish tune in her voice which even some of the best tuned UTAU covers have. That strange nasty one vocaloids dont have and which lets you know wether it's a vocaloid or a UTAU . Meiji has it in this cover, too, but not as strongly. (Do you know what I mean? It's really annoying; I havent found a single UTAU cover without it yet so I guess it comes with the program >

Well that usually depends on the tuner/user. I really recommend you check out kyaami, he/she is a amazing tuner and sound so life like

NiiveaYoki, konuko is a legend when it comes to mixing tracks, she can make engine noise very quiet. (also, her tuning is god tier)

This cover was the first time I heard of Gahata Meiji. I'm wondering who told me about her but I'm so impressed with her voice! Sadly I ended up forgetting about her and finding this video brought back memories of years ago. Recently heard of this Utau a couple months ago and reacted as if it was the first time finding out about her. orz
I'm so impressed with her voice. She sounds so good. She even has a growl! A growl that sounds better compared to what I hear out of V4x. She sounds nearly, or pretty much human.

Great tuning for an Utau indeed. and konuko always makes his magic with Meiji and whoever he uses of course. I'm a vocaloid fanatic, but truth be told, songs like this are being destroyed by a soulless and bored tuning. Seriously, are the producers even try? Songs like "Party Junkie" are so great and then there's a soulless and bored Miku singing. Thank God there's YusukeKira to tune Miku as great as the song is. Seriously, if you can't tune at all, call Konuko, Kyaami, YusukeKira or others to do it for you, don't freaking ruin the whole thing

I love her voice so much even if she is a UTAU. She has a surprisingly high quality voice bank for a UTAU, since the platform is free, unlike the Vocaloid platform. She sounded like a human to me oh my Lord. o_O
