If you watch his earlier video, he used small blue barrel as proof of concept. Watch that and you understand the bigger project. The system worked when water level inside the pressure barrel is below the inlet tube. Once he open the outlet valve, the gravity will pull the water out through the outlet pipe and create negative pressure inside the pressure barrel. This negative pressure will draw water up from his shallow well. Very ingenious physics solution which most typical RUclips minions completely missed!

This "genius idea" was already known B.C. And it only works when the water level in the well is higher than the outlet. This video claims it also works with a deep well, water level in the well below the outlet. This is a lie, in this case it only works when faked.

Judging from this video, the water level of the well is only 1 meter below ground level. While the output pipe (out) extends and decreases. It could be that the end of the output pipe is the same height as the well water level, or lower. So naturally if the water can flow. The mechanism of the equipment only plays a role in increasing the suction or thrust of the water.
I doubt it is even that useful - in this con, they open a valve on top to let air into the drum, the line to the well flows back into the well (why they always have the inlet line at the top of the tank or with a valve on it), and the water in the drum flow to the outlet until the drum and lines empty.

That is a clever idear of using gravity pressure and vaccum to make water flow. I think you can add non return valve inside the pipe that goes inside the well to prevent possibility of backflow.
This "clever idea" is a fake. Such an arrangement can not do better than a siphon does. It can make water flow uphill but only if a downhill path follows with a vertical height bigger than the vertical height of the uphill path. If the outlet is higher than the water in the well, this arrangement does not work.
This arrangement does work!!! Having a 55 gal drum of water and a long pipe creat a large suction vacuum. That is purpose of filling the drum and pipes.

And water pressure only depends on the vertical height of the water column, volume and mass of water are not relevant. If you have a 55 gal drum of water and besides it a thin vertical pipe and you connect both at the bottom, the water level is the same in the drum and the pipe, although the difference in mass and volume is immense. A long pipe can be helpful in preventing air creeping in but it does not help to overcome the air pressure which stops the outflow already at a rather weak level of vacuum. A stronger vacuum would be needed to lift the water from the well if the level of the well is lower than the outlet.

This is really workable. The air vent should be higher than the drum level like he fit in the outlet to the field. The thing is once the field tap is opened, pressure applies that give the gravity and continuity of water from the well to flow without motor. But if the well water is low then it stops and air locks happen. It is simply how you used to suck kerosene drum to fill the can or bottle or the water suction pump you use.

It seems like you are referring the to RAM pump where the RAM has to be lower than the source. It appears this person combined the RAM Pump by using the barrel to start the effect but as the barrel drains it is supposed to suck water up out of the well as a siphon. Which would then continue the flow and increase PSI through the Ram portion of the system. Have you tried this?

If you tried to apply that here, you would still empty the barrel, because the water pumped to a higher elevation would be less than the water put into the system. No matter how hard you try, you aren't going to continuously pump water to a higher elevation unless you continuously put more energy into the system, conservation of energy and all.

If you pay attention, the water outlet is located on the ground downstream, in fact, this is the same siphon that the water barrel plays the role of the primary sucker, if the water level of the well goes down, the system will stop.
I don't think it is even that close to functional - in these they are opening the top valve to let air into the tank, the line to the well empties, the outlet flow is whatever is in the barrel.

Water was flowing at gushing speed, but as soon as I lifted the exit hose higher than source water level , water stopped flowing, and air begun going up from destination hose.

This isn't even a case of the destination being lower - in multiple similar videos, they are running the same con - they either place the inlet from the well at the top of the drum or have a valve on it so it doesn't flow back into the well when they open the valve at the top to let air into the drum. If your outlet was lower, you don't need anything like this, you just need a way to prime the line at its highest point.

It's simply works by gravity or Siphoned method. It works effectively if the declined discharge pipe (volume) must be greater than suction pipe. Elevated Vessel in between is acting as a reservoir to maintained discharged pipe at full condition with liquid... i.e. no air pocket. Vessel must tough enough to handle the gravitional force to prevent collasp.

Very very very very interesting you should use some clear PVC pipe as a site gauge so you can judge how the water is doing in your 55 gallon drum I can't imagine this unit going on forever but the energy that you put in the drum might multiply the amount of water you'll get at the end of the tube do you have to recharge the drum once in awhile
Nope, because it is a con - unless the outlet is lower than the well water level, when the valves are opened, the only flow will be the water used to prime the lines and fill the tank going back into the well. The outlet flow in the video is the water from the tank because they opened 1 of the top valves.
In this way you can have energy for free.The only energy that you add is the energy by moving the buckets with water from the well to the barrel . So if this energy finish it will stop. Except if the end of the pipe is in a lower level than the level of the water in the well. Only in this case it will continue to pump water. In other case it will stop to work after it uses the energy that you have provided. That means to move only the water that you already added into the barrel+- some more depended from the level differences of the output pipe and the water level in the well

I guess if you build it a bit higher and keep the drum vertical, the exist pressure will be higher hence more suction, but maybe joints will suck in air at some point.
I have noticed that the pipe diameter of the outlet pipe is reduced at the end. It looks like this end or call it a nozzle, diameter is less than the diameter of the inlet pipe feeding the drum from the well. If your outlet allows for more water to be siphoned out, you will get air eventually sucked up the outlet back into the drum and that will effectively be a leak in the vacuum. Why not then have the same diameter inlet and outlet. I assume you get better pressure maybe? I have to research this and build a smaller model....

This isnt free energy because you can't use gravity to get water exiting back into the well. It's just suction and a variation of the ram pump. This works as long as the exit point is lower than input. You can also pump water uphill with a couple of valves again assuming the reservoir or well is higher than the exit point. The water can be pumped higher than the well and it's not a violation as water is not recycled back. It's an open system not a closed system. To get the water exiting the system back into the well or reservoir, you need to do work.So the system is losing energy as it is doing work and can only be sustained by water from the well which is higher than the outflow although it doesn't appear so in the video.

It has to be large bore tubing big enough to create suction power. You just test this by putting a small tube to a water filled bucket and fill the tube. Let it down, it will drain. Same thing! There is no magic here.

It depends on size of tubing and length. Longer the tubing and wider the diameter will generate more suction power but don’t think that will work infinitely. Be sensible with the depth since there is no power involved here other than siphoning suction. Also the tank has to be bigger to prime the tubing. So this project has its limitations but will work for a reasonable depth to suck water.

It is a syphon with start drum (to fill pipe with watter) in a short desctiption. Additionaly there is a lot of water in the field already;)

It doesn't work on a siphon principal. Water exiting the barrel creates a vacuum in the drum and in return pulls the water from the well.

To those who have queries, this is pure science application. I had something almost like this in my school project.
_To those who have queries, this is pure_ demonstration of how poorly most understand _science application._ Unless the outlet is lower than the well water level, all that will happen when the valves are opened is the water used to prime the lines and fill the drum will flow back into the well. To get flow for the video, they are opening up a valve on top of the tank to let air in and the water flow out.
It seems like you are referring the to RAM pump where the RAM has to be lower than the source. It appears this person combined the RAM Pump by using the barrel to start the effect but as the barrel drains it is supposed to suck water up out of the well as a siphon. Which would then continue the flow and increase PSI through the Ram portion of the system. Have you tried this?
@@ctimm54 In viewing it like a ram pump, a ram pump collects the energy (force) of 2 portions of flowing water, then uses that energy to pump 1 portion of water higher while discharging the other portion. If you tried to apply that here, you would still empty the barrel, because the water pumped to a higher elevation would be less than the water put into the system.
No matter how hard you try, you aren't going to continuously pump water to a higher elevation unless you continuously put more energy into the system, conservation of energy and all.

I don't think it is even that close to functional - in these they are opening the top valve to let air into the tank, the line to the well empties, the outlet flow is whatever is in the barrel.
@@1SCme This can work ONLY IF the destination pipe end is at level LOWER than the water level in the well. I tried it in my garage . Water was flowing at gushing speed, but as soon as I lifted the exit hose higher than source water level , water stopped flowing, and air begun going up from destination hose.
@@wildthoughts6959 Same as siphoning gasoline out of a tank. This isn't even a case of the destination being lower - in multiple similar videos, they are running the same con - they either place the inlet from the well at the top of the drum or have a valve on it so it doesn't flow back into the well when they open the valve at the top to let air into the drum.
If your outlet was lower, you don't need anything like this, you just need a way to prime the line at its highest point.

It's simply works by gravity or Siphoned method. It works effectively if the declined discharge pipe (volume) must be greater than suction pipe. Elevated Vessel in between is acting as a reservoir to maintained discharged pipe at full condition with liquid... i.e. no air pocket. Vessel must tough enough to handle the gravitional force to prevent collasp.

Very very very very interesting you should use some clear PVC pipe as a site gauge so you can judge how the water is doing in your 55 gallon drum I can't imagine this unit going on forever but the energy that you put in the drum might multiply the amount of water you'll get at the end of the tube do you have to recharge the drum once in awhile
Nope, because it is a con - unless the outlet is lower than the well water level, when the valves are opened, the only flow will be the water used to prime the lines and fill the tank going back into the well. The outlet flow in the video is the water from the tank because they opened 1 of the top valves.
In this way you can have energy for free.The only energy that you add is the energy by moving the buckets with water from the well to the barrel . So if this energy finish it will stop. Except if the end of the pipe is in a lower level than the level of the water in the well. Only in this case it will continue to pump water. In other case it will stop to work after it uses the energy that you have provided. That means to move only the water that you already added into the barrel+- some more depended from the level differences of the output pipe and the water level in the well

I guess if you build it a bit higher and keep the drum vertical, the exist pressure will be higher hence more suction, but maybe joints will suck in air at some point.

I have noticed that the pipe diameter of the outlet pipe is reduced at the end. It looks like this end or call it a nozzle, diameter is less than the diameter of the inlet pipe feeding the drum from the well.
If your outlet allows for more water to be siphoned out, you will get air eventually sucked up the outlet back into the drum and that will effectively be a leak in the vacuum.
Why not then have the same diameter inlet and outlet. I assume you get better pressure maybe?

Nope. This a vacuum pump. When the water gets out of the barrel, a natural vacuum is created. Since the pressure at the entry point is lower than at the exit, the vacuum pumps the water from the well rather than sucks the exiting water back to fill the vacuum. It is sound. It can only work in a close system with no air leaks.

This isnt free energy because you can't use gravity to get water exiting back into the well. It's just suction and a variation of the ram pump. This works as long as the exit point is lower than input. You can also pump water uphill with a couple of valves again assuming the reservoir or well is higher than the exit point. The water can be pumped higher than the well and it's not a violation as water is not recycled back. It's an open system not a closed system. To get the water exiting the system back into the well or reservoir, you need to do work.So the system is losing energy as it is doing work and can only be sustained by water from the well which is higher than the outflow although it doesn't appear so in the video.

That's why a vacuum pump is needed. A modified version of this the ram pump. It will pump water above both reservoir and outlet. Again reservoir must be higher that outlet.

Put 2 cameras and mark the water level down, I know that their were pressures trap inside the extended pipe that can push the water out when you open the tail end, and the water pressure itself pulled up the water from deep well but just make sure do what I suggested. or else battery operated pump..

It has to be large bore tubing big enough to create suction power. You just test this by putting a small tube to a water filled bucket and fill the tube. Let it down, it will drain. Same thing! There is no magic here.

Can you explain maximum depth from how many meters you can bring up water using this method.
It depends on size of tubing and length. Longer the tubing and wider the diameter will generate more suction power but don’t think that will work infinitely. Be sensible with the depth since there is no power involved here other than siphoning suction. Also the tank has to be bigger to prime the tubing. So this project has its limitations but will work for a reasonable depth to suck water.

Not true. But you need to have enough drop from your tank to your outlet to produce enough air vacuum in your tank to suck the water out of your well. For a ram pump that produces compressed air that ratio is 7 to 1. Takes more vacuum to lift water. This is why his pipes inlet andoutlet pipes are different sizes
