Excellent list. Some others that could make my Top 10 list are By Kilian Back to Black / 18.21 Man Made Sweet Tobacco Spirits, Serge Lutens Fumerie Turque, Creed Tabarome, Kerosene Broken Theories. There are also several great inexpensive cheapies that won't make the list, but are great low-cost tobacco scents such as: Lanvin Avant Garde, Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme, Michael Kors Michael for Men, Aramis Havana, Tom Ford Men, Oriflame Architect, Versace Man, Versace Dreamer and CK One Shock.

I'm wearing Herod today but Tobacco Vanille is my favorite. it's a lot more pronounced and spicy than Herod but I think Tom Ford knocked it out of the park with this one. God bless

Oh gee my favorite tobacco scent? It is a toss up between Tobacco by I Profumi di Firenze and Volutes by Diptyque. But if I had to just choose one, well today the house of I Profumi di Firenze would win... but tomorrow is another day. I really enjoyed your top 10 tobaccos Steven and it made me realize I need to expand my Tobacco Note perfumes. Ciao for now.

Great video. Being a cigar smoker, I love the smell of cigar tobacco and Spanish cedar (which is the preferred lining of humidors). I'm a newbie to fragrances so not much of a nose yet. (Could be the cigars!)

I don't understand why everyone praises Herod. I think it smells okay but I don't get a lot of Tobacco. I get the same Tobacco note as I get in D&G The one. it just smells synthetic. Tobacco Vanille on the other hand is an absolute masterpiece. my number 1 winter scent of all time. great video Steven! you should do a top 10 gourmand list!
Great list ! I wore Herod Saturday and Pure Havane today:) My favorite is Herod by far ! It's really cooled down here in WV so I am enjoying the tobacco frags !

Get Herod on a split is always, always, always my recommendation for people wanting the highest level of tobacco/vanilla in a fragrance. A long time ago I got mine in a 3-way split (42ML) for $50! Now I own a bottle and a back-up bottle because I love the scent so much.You can't go wrong with Herod in the (colder days of) fall/winter guys!
Herod is a powerhouse and a staple! Really can't go wrong with it.

I love the note of tobacco and thus your list as well! Couple questions for you: I've sampled and adore Pure Havane, but was wondering if you think Reyane Insurrection Wild is a worthy substitute or if I should just go for the original. Dry down on Herod has to be my favorite scent. Day's later I can smell it on my jacket or even couch pillows after a whole work day relaxing at home. I'm down to my last few wearing's of Pure Havane and just been adding 3 sprays when I am wearing Herod.

I own it and still wear it from time to time. It might actually be my least favorite Creed. It's smooth and has a sophisticated appeal, but personally, it didn't wow me. I haven't reviewed that one. Thank you for watching!

herod is a beautiful scent hands down the winner of this group. it is probably my second favorite cologne only to pure malt which is my all time favorite.

herod by far is the best winter/fall tobacco and in my top 5 best fragrances of all time .. i dnt get much play on it because i only wear on special occasions
Great list! Fumerie Turque from Serge Lutens is one of my all time favorite fragrances. Fields of Rubus by Kerosene is also worth mentioning.

Great vid as always Steven. As an aside serious queation, online I see at least 4 distinct versions of Creation E by ROJA that all either have different caps, labels or juice colors. Are some of these potential fakes? Thanks! Happy Holidays!
Hey, Steven. There are definitely fakes out there, but the older version of Creation-E has a sticker as opposed to a metal plaque.
Okay, that helps some. I'm still going to have to do some digging and more research. Some of the caps are plain metallic plastic, some are black "jewels" and some are clear "jewels". Juice color varies from dark amber cognac to light yellow golden pee color. I bet as something soooo pricey there are potentially a ton of fakes out there! Thanks brother. Stay fresh!

It’d be interesting to hear your take on The One Royal Night. Some reviewers are applauding it, other say there’s not enough difference with The One EDP. I like The One EDT, I love EDP and I adore Royal Night. Granted, there’s not a world of difference between EDP and Royal Night but it’s a very noticeable difference and it turns a great fragrance into a masterpiece. No one seems to be exactly sure what the extra note is, some claim it’s oud, although it’s not listed as an ingredient, there’s also that note that gives fragrances like Marly that extra oomph, could be ambergris, at any rate it also improves sillage and projection, not that those were too shabby with EDP.

There is a cologne called Cigar Aficionado. It was discontinued in late nineties, early two thousands. Can you recommend a cologne similar to that scent?
Great list. I have noticed a trend of women wearing the tobacco or boozey scents. I personally love them in Fall and Winter. I own the Tom Ford, but want to branch out. Would you consider some or all of these unisex? Thanks!
I personally think they're all unisex, but if anything, Bois d'Ombrie might be a bit too dark and smoky for most women's tastes. Other than that, they're all fairly unisex. Thank you for watching!

I smell a very prominent tobacco accord or scent in Spicebomb. It may be synthetic but it does stand out clearly to my nose.

Great list. I haven't tried most of them though but they sound interesting... Out of the ones I have smelled that I can remember.. My favorite was probably DG pour homme vintage.. And dreamer vintage.. also liked tobacco vanille but its a little heavy and thick.. Chergui was also nice,, although that one gets a little to thick on me as well.. Hmm sure pure havane was nice as well.. Can't think of any others off the top of my head. I do like the tobacco note it seems.

I think I've just discovered I'm not fond of tobacco fragrances :/ what's wrong with me.. but I do love Chergui and D&G The One those two both go left field in character imo..great vid!!

I am currently wearing a fragrance by an Independent Perfumer and her Perfume house is called Kyse Perfumes and she has a fragrance called "J" it is a really nice aged smelling tobacco with a very nice smooth vanilla hint its a really nice frag..I ordered a frag from here and I got "J" as a sample and I immediately ordered a full bottle of it because I liked it so much.
Would you recommend Roja Dove Creation E for a Works Christmas Party? I'm only 19 , but I want something special
Buddy it's over $300 for a 50ml bottle. This juice is great, but you don't need to spend that type of money for a great tobacco frag at your age, 19. Go for Burberry London--great tobacco Christmas frag and you can pick this up for under $40. TM Pure Havane can be picked up for cheap as well as well as Versace Dreamer and Man--a ton of options. If you can go a little more I highly recommend 18.21 Sweet Tobacco Spirits if you can afford $80. Hope that helps.....I guess we are looking a Christmas 2017 now:) My frag this coming Winter will be, 18.21 ($$), Burberry London ($), PFM Herod ($$), TF Tobacco Vanille ($$$), TM Pure Havane ($), Kilian Back to Black ($$$), D&G The One ($) and Versace Man ($) and Dreamer ($). You can see, there are several affordable options. Tobacco is such a great note. Good luck.
Steven, I'm looking for a fragrance that I have a scent memory of but I don't know what it is, maybe you can give me with suggestions according to the notes in that fragrance. It has Tobacco, vetiver, bergamot and maybe saffron. it is the fragrance that you smell the freshness from a distance but you smell the tobacco when you get closer. it is kinda similar to Versa Man But I was looking for something classier and Richer than that, do you have any suggestions? i would really appreciate it.

as many sellers on Amazon.
I understand the concern. I have personally spent thousands of dollars on FragranceNet, and I have yet to receive a knockoff. I use BeautySpin as well, and I have found that they have low prices too.
