Gabriel, I recently discovered your discography. It's consistently fascinating, I don't think there's ever been an artist I've relistened to quite as much. You have such a unique voice, the world is truly a better place with your music in it.
I don't know if its a crow chirp or what but when it hits at 6:15, is when I realized this is no ordinary vaporwave album. Lesser artists could make 3 or 4 albums with the amount of hooks, unique sounds and meandering melodies jammed into these 50 minutes. Further still is the amount of character on display here. Be it happy mistakes and random lead takes that made the final cut, this lp has a totally human sound.
My favorite Vaporwave album of all time. I keep coming back for One Day, Fine You, and Software. But really, all of it is sublime. The entire composition is a journey of brilliance. Windows 96 is an unsung genius.
@@solsbaka Of course it does. Look at the social, cultural and economic transformations that Thatcher and Reagan created, that have been continued by every UK/US leader since (bar Trump).
@@BritishJuche Trump has accelerated every negative neoliberal economic transformation that Reagan started. Obama was the least neoliberal President on economic issues since Reagan. The ACA and Dodd-Frank slowed neoliberalism's advance. He was less successful on foreign policy issues; the only time he really challenged the neoliberal consensus was with the Iran Deal.
I was searching all of these "rawr" sound effect apparitions on W96 and when I clicked on this video it started right in Punch your face, that was cool.
I love how I can pick up on the midis that I've used in the past. It's pretty incredible you've made such good music with these instruments. And Windows96 is just such an awesome and perfect name for this project.
I realized what it is... There's theurgic energy emanating from these songs due to how much pure soul was poured into them. It's to where you feel the almost direct, passionate, intimate communion with the artist's imagination on an unconscious, intuitive level. It's intense and yet sublime. And most other peoples' art these days just feels hollow and vapid, comparatively.
@Eunice Wekesa I guess it ain't even vaporwave at all. It's like Post-Punk, Vaporwave, Electronic and maybe something else. Anyway, it's something unique, unless it's just slowed down old-ass song...

That is a greatest album I´ve heard so far, brings me to the AGE OF AQUARIUS in a Outworldly sense, living in a dystopian time like now, to bring back the equilibrium and shift the collective to a positive timeline. AGE OF AQUARIUS as the cover shows itself.

yeah, the inspiration and imagination. I think most music is someone trying to imitate someone else, but often times music is so unique that it stands apart. I think they must be sourcing inspiration from fairly obscure sources. Namely 80s newwave and modern vaporwave music. I find if I listen to enough music I can imagine up new songs follow the same ideas as the other tracks, I think any artist can probably do that. Though it does take skill to actually create it rather than imagine it.
