Huge intro
Nice concept idea, and top quality video thank you :)
Great, very helpful
Thanks man❤
You're welcome 😊
I enjoyed this, Adam.
The best piano intro ever is The Way It Is by Bruce Hornsby.
👍 You’ll probably enjoy this then: ruclips.net/video/MhMsQX7j9X0/видео.html 😊
Hmmm!! Perhaps.
I’d say Bat Out of Hell, Bridge Over Troubled Waters, I Don’t Like Mondays.
Nice
For me, it’s not so much a 8-maj7-5 pattern, because when looking at the base it‘s actually a IV-V-I(1st inversion) pattern! So the „maj7“ is actually the third of the fifth.
If we Analyse the embellishment, the IV is actually an Emaj7 / IV maj 7 (as she uses the D-sharp).
I also don’t see the final chord of the pattern as a Bsus2, as it doesn’t function as a tonic, it is unrest and I would rather see this as an E6.
But - in any case still a very helpful analysis for piano beginners!
When you show the LH there are 4 notes, when you add the L and R together the left now only has 3 notes!
erm... GREATEST Piano intro ever? listen to Lamb lies down on Broadway, listen to Firth of Fifth, listen to Rock is a drug, ... well ... listen to Trilogy 🙄 come oooon whats great and what is ... well... o.k. ?
