Porsche 993 Turbo S - Paint Correction & old PPF replacement

- Starting in '97, Porsche offered the 993 Turbo S, manufactured by the Porsche Exclusiv department. The Turbo S featured a power boost up to 450hp with the help of a larger Triple K K-24 turbochargers, additional oil cooler, and a tweaked Motronic Engine Management System. It was also garnished with carbon fiber and additional leather interior accents.
You can always tell a turbo S by the yellow brake calipers, slightly larger wing, quad-pipe exhaust, and the added front spoiler with brake cooling ducts. Oh, and those luscious air scoops behind the doors.
This was the last of the air-cooled 911 Turbos. A true automotive icon.

Clearly the guy that owns it takes great care of it. The paint was pretty decent to start with, just some minor swirls. It's nice to see that, too often you see a nice car in a parking lot looking like it was washed with a brillo pad.

Yes that’s right… this wasn’t that bad paint except hood, roof and spoiler there was some heavy water spot and that was actually the main reason why the car was with us 😉
I've a 1996 993 C2 iris blue metallic, 66,000 miles, 6-speed manny tranny, varioram. No CEL, no oil leaks. I'm never selling it.
And, oh yeah, multi 'full' concours winner. (I do the work myself.)
One of the most beautiful Porsches. A 993 Turbo S which is well maintained. But what I really dislike in cars in USA, are the two "caps" for the number plate (black in the specific car) in the rear bumper and the two (black again) "covers" below the front headlights. Even the headlights water sprinklers are in black, my OCD cannot "tolerate" that.

That car looks spectacular after your detail. Looks brand new. And that yellow paint looks so good on a Porsche. I saw one in that same color in front of me on the interstate about six months ago. It looked pretty incredible in person. Even being an older model year, that car has really stood the test of time.
