It's a bit awkward, but for middle staff B-natural, if you play it with the normal fingering but also add the throat A key, it speaks a little bit better.
I agree! When I was in highschool I had to play a reference concert A to tune the band up (kinda like an oboe in an orchestra) but my clarinet was always cold an my B was usually flat, so I'd use the A key too just like this! You can also sharper/clarify middle B-natural by touching the secont-to-top trill key with the base knuckle of your index finger. It's mega awkward, but desperate time call for desperate measures I guess :) Thanks for watching!

Play regular Bb (left hand thumb and index). Then experiment with depressing either/both of the two top trill-keys. Some combination should make a decent C.
I just became a subscriber and I like your style. But the background cover music is so loud and distracting I found it difficult to concentrate on the narrative. Perhaps leave it out altogether as the message is technical and requires close attention. Your presence is pleasing , your techniques most interesting….don’t need the rest. Cheers from Australia

For clarion B to trill to C# just add the second from the top side key.
it works, but mega-flat for most clarinets. I use the side-key fingering if pitch isn't a big deal :)
@@liamclarinetI'm playing Castelnuovo-Tedesco sonata and your fingering is a life saver!
my pleasure! @@eugene_mikheev which fingering in particular? if you record and upload your performance, I'd love to hear it!
@@liamclarinet The one you showed the last. Sounds much cleaner and homogeneous with surrounding notes.
I'll record the excerpt a little bit later!

Is there an alternative fingering for faster 16th notes when the notes are Bb,Ab,Bb,C?
Play regular Bb (left hand thumb and index).
Then experiment with depressing either/both of the two top trill-keys. Some combination should make a decent C.
can you do alternatives fingerings for contra alto?
