Hi, I’ve grown up in and currently live in New Orleans. I have always hoped to attend Tulane and I would like your opinion on something. I am currently a sophomore at one of the top high schools in the city. I am currently planning on graduating one year early from high school, meaning that I would skip the typical 12th grade/senior year. I have a high GPA, a high ACT score, 200+ service hours, and a few AP and CLEP exam scores. Assuming that my stats and essays will be pretty good, do you think that my graduating early from high school could hinder my chances of admission to Tulane?
Honestly, I don't think that's a bad idea considering you have all of your credits, plenty of service, and enough experiences. The only issue I can think of is that you will be younger than your peers and no longer have those senior year experiences. As long as you think that you are mature enough to handle college and have a general plan of what you are passionate about, go for it!
